Description

Yup the 458 drains batteries rather fast, Don't think I can even mix 3batches of plaster when 4ah battery is already drained, but other than that I have had no complains. The safety features on the 18v cordless hammer drill allows for a safer work environment with LED job lights with afterglow and belt clip for ease of keeping it and yourself safe.

Drilling Modes – screwdriving mode (rotation with clutch) for achieving an even consistent finish when fastening screws.Versatile function: The Makita cordless hammer drill has 3 combi drill modes: regular drill, hammer drill, drill driver mode for fastening and unfastening, plus 21 adjustable torque settings + drill. The DHP481 will generate 60Nm of fastening torque (soft joint) and between 115-125Nm (hard joint), the highest torque yet from the Makita 18v range.

is it a serious improvement over the 458 with it being brushless and the power output being bumped up from 88 to 115nm, or it's more or less the same stuff just a tiny bit better? As batteries now include a battery life indicator, the battery capacity light on the base of the drill has been sacrificed for an even more compact and lightweight tool!If you’re concerned about sound, this device produces 84 dB(A) at sound pressure level and 94 dB(A) at sound power level.
