Only one balanced input. An extra TRS input would have been nice. They keep saying this is to keep to cost down, fair enough. But why can a lot of other companies that make models in the same price range do these things but not Adam Audio? Perfect integration whatever that might mean, which is the second issue and where I don't quite adhere to the concept. The U-ART tweeter is fitted to a precision waveguide with the same dispersion-control attributes as the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S Series studio monitors. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mix position while working. Powerful Projection The EQ I provide are targeted at maximizing the *speaker* performance to give the user a decent starting point for the final in-room integration that will undoubtably require additional EQing to deal with the room/speaker location LF contribution. The speaker is rear-ported, and they’ve flared the port exit to reduce any amount of port noise that may have been an issue otherwise. Compared to other studio monitors

I use these mostly for metal music and some electronic stuff etc. I have had these monitors about 4 months. Good time to write review. The T7V utilises waveguide technology and U-ART Ribbon tweeters taken from their critically acclaimed S-Series monitors. The result is a super-wide sweet spot, balanced frequency output and stunning detail, even in the smallest control rooms. If there is something I would have wanted it would have been a little more precise settings on the speaker for room treatment. I have it set on max boost on the low frequencies and max decrease on the highs. And I think I would have turned them even more if I had the chance. I guess I just have to treat my room a little more but I am satisfied with the sound now The U-ART 1.9-inch accelerated Ribbon tweeter offers a more dynamic range which means even if you move around your desk, the frequencies that you hear won’t change. During sound generation, the by folded U-ART membrane leads to direct and fast response, even when the unit is maxed out or has complex transients. Accompany this with the HPS waveguide that is found in Adam Audio’s flagship S Series, ensures the monitor has a consistent dispersion and stable imaging over a broader area. The calculated scores are not directly comparable to the others form ASR but I would be inclined to say that the EQ benefits are correctly captured

Even for more modern EDM, Hip-Hop, or classical music with deeper bass, it delivers all you need without needing a subwoofer for near-field monitoring. Fortunately for producers of music with warp-factor bass, ADAM offers a range of subwoofers for, in their own words, ’lower bass – not louder bass’. Their SUB7 is designed for smaller monitors while the range comprises several models more suited to larger control rooms or workstation environments. Conclusion Because, other parameters such as the age/materials of the building, furniture/windows in place also have an impact on room acoustics. These are some amazing studio monitors for the price I have to say. The sound is very clear and punchy. Low end is tight and sub heavy, highs are crisp and smooth. I have been using these for about a month now and I'm pretty happy with them. The build quality is decent as well. But they do have some things that I really dislike in terms of design itself. The highs and the mids are detailed, balanced, and ample. What they are not, though, is neutral. This is not the flattest response you can get in studio monitors. They do color the sound a little with the signature ADAM timbre.I think the KRKs are so overhyped at this point, and fair enough, they’ve certainly earned their place. At a certain point though, when will we stop buying things just because they’re the popular choice? Save yourself the headache and get the T7V. The sound is full in the whole frequency spectrum except from the lows to low mids where they have small dip there, but thats not something that i really miss. I actually think that i helps with the overall clarity of the monitors which is exceptional. It's just something to have in mind for the one's that use them for mixing.
