You need a mimosa that’s not too difficult for your next party and will add a perfect touch of class. These sweet yet tart red berries are just what we mean! Plus, with pomegranate champagne juice in it, they can't go wrong. This drink has something for everyone's taste buds. Once you get to the point of straining out the pulp and rind, gently wring the cheesecloth to extract all of the liquid and juice (the fourth photo). Processing and additives. Bottled pomegranate juices may undergo processing methods that can diminish their nutritional value. They might also contain additives like preservatives, sweeteners, or artificial flavours. Firstly, the color is stunning. It’s so bright and inviting, and I love how it makes those little bits of zest pop.

I divided them in three jars and divided the alcohol in each one. I put them in the closet for a month (you can leave them more time if you like) and a few days ago, I made the syrup. This punch is the perfect way to get your guests in the holiday spirit. It's got all kinds of layers that are sure not only taste great but give your guests something fun and different every time they drink! The cinnamon syrup gives it an extra flavor twist, so you can switch this out for other festive events if needed. One day in December, when I went to the farmers’ market, near my house in Athens, I saw a vendor selling tsipouro (an alcoholic drink made of pomace). A food mill can be used for crushing pomegranate seeds, but certainly isn't necessary.Similarly, a tube siphon can be used to fill the bottles, but I find it just as easy to carefully use a measuring cup or ladle. In a punch bowl or large pitcher, combine 1 cup of pomegranate juice and 1/4 cup of Grand Marnier. Slowly pour in 1 bottle of chilled Champagne or sparkling wine, gently stirring to blend the flavours. Add 1 cup of chilled ginger ale or club soda to infuse an extra touch of effervescence. Keep the punch cool in the fridge and add ice just before your guests arrive so it doesn’t dilute the taste. For an extra festive touch, garnish with orange slices.

There are several different ways to go about getting the seed pods out of pomegranates (some of which are even instructables!) but the water method has always been my preferred method. But it’s not just a matter of mixing the juices together. Instead, you’ll need to make a cranberry reduction so the flavor can shine through. Flavour variation. The taste of bottled pomegranate juice might differ from fresh juice due to processing and storage methods. Some people may find the flavour less vibrant or slightly altered.Fresh pomegranates are so iconic of Christmas time and are one of my favorite flavours to add to our dishes during the holidays. This homemade pomegranate liqueur is perfect for making a pomegranate martini or mimosa. Pomegranate liqueur like all other liqueurs is easy to make but you have to be patient and wait for the fruit to macerate in the alcohol for about a month, then prepare a simple sugar syrup and combine them. So unlike, say, tequila, which is recognizable no matter what, you might have to spend a little time trying to find your perfect gin. In our village, in Asini, Argolida, there are many pomegranate trees and we also have two growing in our garden. I made these on Christmas Day, and boy, were they a hit! Sure, orange juice is fine, but this was such a nice change.
