However, there is a minor point I would like to mention. The upper needed a better glue to remain attached to the soul for a longer period of time. Natural MOTION — The Prio is flexible enough to let little feet bend, move, and flex the way, well, that feet are supposed

Normally, the tread of a shoe runs to its edge. The Prio sole, in contrast, has a rim, or outline, of smoother material. While I was skeptical about this feature, it’s not at all noticeable when wearing the shoe. I’m curious to know the reasoning behind it. For more versatile training and CrossFit-style workouts, there’s a fairly clear winner between these three models. Of these shoes, the Xero Shoes 360 is the strongest performer for CrossFit and CrossFit-style training. In addition, I also really like this model for more versatile training due to its removable insole being a bit more responsive in nature. It’s nice to have the option to leave it in or take it out.

Conclusion

The Prio is about as attractive as a ‘foot-shaped’ shoe can get, in my opinion. Shoes with a wide toe box may never look as sleek as a more conventional shoe, but it does come in several different colors. Reflective details are a plus!

People like different types of fit — some like their toes near the end, others like 1/4″-1/2″ of extra space. In terms of natural feel, the Merrell Vapor Glove 6 continues to help define the barefoot category. This shoe is the lightest weight contender in our test group, achieving this feat through its ultra-minimalist design. There's not much to this shoe. The Vibram rubber outsole with 2mm multidirectional lugs maintains grip without sacrificing ground feel. The recycled mesh upper is thin and breathable. Where there is extra material for abrasion resistance, it's also thin and minimal. Even the lace design is minimalist, utilizing cordage for both the shoelace and the lace rungs. All of these factors combine to create an ultra-lightweight shoe that fits like, yes, a glove, and provides comfort, agility, and that barefoot shoe feel. The Xero Shoes Prio’s durability has stood up well to my daily wear and resistance training workouts. This model is pretty standard with its construction and shouldn’t break down on you if you’re limiting how much friction the upper is experiencing. Seems simple, yes? Feet aren’t pointy (unless you shove them into pointy shoes), they’re not essentially straight (in fact, some feet are way more curved than what’s in the picture). Xero Shoes – Natural Footwear for Natural Movement The sole looks basically new, which lines up with Xero Shoes‘s warranty of 5,000 miles. They know they have a durable product. The only sign of wear on the sole shows up when you compare the new and old directly, where you can see some of the texture has rubbed off.Watch the video below to see how to use the template. For the Venture and original Cloud, the toe post position is very important. For the Z-Trek and Z-Trail, the overall fit is what matters most: One of the perks with barefoot shoes is that for the most part, they all perform consistently well in lifting settings. The Xero Shoes 360, Prio, and HFS are all awesome for resistance training and barbell lifts like deadlifts. All of these models feature removable insoles which are awesome for allowing you to get even closer to the ground in your lifts.

To help out if your kids get too big for their Prio, we’ve created a Facebook Group where you can trade/swap/buy/sell your shoes and pass your still-wearable pair to someone who still fits your size, and find a pair for the next perfect fit.Neither are dedicated hiking shoes. Instead, they are cross-training shoes, so let’s talk about how they hold up in the gym. Is the Xero 360 good for Crossfit?

Xero Shoes offers the Prio model in Men’s, Women’s, and Kid’s. Right at the start of our journey, I bought the kids and I’ll say clearly that they are not for wide, high-volume kids. If your kids are narrow or medium, go for it. They’re a great shoe. But they never worked for my middle son. The Genesis and the original Cloud are unisex styles. For example a men’s 7 is the same exact shoe as a women’s 8. Mesa Trail – The Mesa Trail runs small. We recommend choosing 1/2 size larger than your usual size.*That’s why we’re thrilled to release the Kid’s version of our best-selling Prio barefoot/minimalist shoe for everything they love to do. DayLite Hiker Fusion – Women – The Women’s DayLite Hiker Fusion runs small. We recommend choosing 1/2 size larger than your usual size.* All of our children’s shoes are wider than conventional children’s shoes. If you normally wear a larger size to get a wider fit in conventional shoes, you may not have to do that with Xero Shoes. The Z-Trek is our only sandal that fits larger than expected for many customers. For example, many customers who are a size 9 in the Genesis, Cloud and Z-Trail are a size 8 in the Z-Trek.
