Plus you can still leave a few shots in the chamber so you are not entirely defenseless. The priming indicator does not indicate whether you have any ammo though, simply that you are primed, so no ammo, no dart, regardless of what the indicator says! The speed and accuracy with which the Rival rounds pop out is going to be quite a revelation if this is your first step up from NERF’s dart-firing blasters. From 10 feet away you can group your shots within inches rather than feet, and the rounds ping around the place so there’s the added possibility of getting hit by a ricochet.If it makes you feel any better, jams are usually very rare. If you are smart with your Nerf guns, you’ll never have that problem with the Nerf Rival Hades.
