STEP 10: Run any necessary PVC piping. If you need a right-angle turn, use two 45° elbows (arrows) instead of a single 90° elbow. Make sure to insulate any piping that is susceptible to freezing. My ancient SaniPlus finally expired, so needed replacement. The Flo-Force equivalent was so much cheaper (about a quarter of the price), it had to be a contender. So far, absolutely no problems. It seems a bit quieter and at least as efficient. Slightly different size, so fitting was a bit of a problem, but nothing too challenging. Bought this for a down stairs shower room/toilet. Works very well considering it's a fraction of the cost of more expensive well know brands. STEP 6: A nearby 15-amp electrical circuit is needed to operate the macerator pump. Due to the close proximity to water, the circuit should be protected with a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), the blue box in the photo.

Replaced this unit for a Saniflow. Exactly identical but a lot cheaper. Saniflow lasted appro 7 years, so let’s see how long this lasts.STEP 8: Now prepare the macerator unit for installation. Install the discharge elbow, which has a non-return valve built into it. Secure the elbow with a clamp. Make sure the elbow is seated properly: Press down and twist. Makes me wonder why saniflo are so expensive when this does the same job and seems to be quieter to.easy swap connections almost the same .will definitely use on other jobs in the future. If you are a competent DIY person conversant with household plumbing you may feel confident to install the Macerator yourself.

bought to replace our macerator, which was the older version of this model. very easy to replace, but with the design change had to rework the water pipe for the toilet. all other pipes fitted as with the original. its also a runs with so much less noise than the old unit Just the job never used this type of product before i was not sure it would do the job but it does very pleased will recommend There are many makes and models to choose from depending on your requirements and advice can be obtained from the manufacturer i.e. Saniflo, Grundfos, Stewart, and Turner all of whom produce great Macerators.

How do i install Macerating System

Value for money product, easy to install and not too loud on the Db. Flo- Force Max Macerator does 1second bursts between 5 - 10 times after flush. I will be buying this product again for all future projects. Hi I bought it to replace one and this one is too good easy operational and low maintenance and can be repaired this the best part Used this to replace broken Saniflo moderator. Great value for money works the same as the other at a fraction of the price. Would highly recommend Got this to replace a Sani-flow that had been there for quite a few years. Was the only one I could find with the outlets and inlets for shower and sink near enough to the old one not to cause any major hassle. Pleasantly surprised,. Slightly quieter than old one and pretty easy to install Will have to wait to make final judgement but a month in no problems. Great value for money but time will tell :)

STEP 15: Insert the breather opening cap (above) and cover with the air vent cover (below). Make sure this is not obstructed after installation. Macerators are often used for new bathrooms in areas that aren’t serviced by standard plumbing, pumping the waste either horizontally or vertically depending on where in the home they are installed. The waste is then discharged into the main waste pipe. How to install a macerator? I used this unit to replace broken Saniflo. Does the same job as the other macerator at a fraction of the price. Would highly recommend. Really pleased with this macerater. Working well and just used the two outlets to the toilet and sink.High 75 l/min Flow Rate This Flo-Force macerator has plenty of power with it's impressive 75 litre per minute flow rate. Unit fits under a standard kitchen unit along with any related pipe work. Using ours in a utility room in our basement fed by a sink and washer. Works great. Perfect macerator for the job! A lot cheaper than anywhere else and works perfect! Only downfall, the large jubilee clip was not provided which is needed to attach to the pan. But very minor issue.
