TV chef Nigella Lawson probably wouldn’t think so because she included a recipe for a deep fried Bounty bar in one of her cook books. I have to confess that Bounty (dark chocolate) is one of my favourites. I can chew away on the strands of coconut for ages extracting every ounce of moisture from a single strand. So Ness can give me a Bounty Bar any time and not just on Christmas day! Aero & Aero Mint It’s the same with Caramacs, which are the latest casualty in the great confectionery shake up. They were the dinosaur of the chocolate aisle, with that undefinable milky, caramelised flavour, the retro red and yellow wrapper, the long thin bar roughly the colour of Sir Michael Fabricant’s hair. They were unfashionable, but we liked knowing they were there.
