Irgendwo habe ich auch gelesen, dass es eine Trilogie werden soll, konnte dazu jetzt aber nichts weiter finden. Ich bin gespannt, eine weitere Fortsetzung würde mich sehr freuen. Nine has a great storyline and so when I put this through CAWPILE, characters came out at 8/10 because they all had a redeemable quality. Nine just wants a family! Flabby wants tea. Eric just wants to clean!! (my heartttt) and Spoon wants to find Dish! Once Nine had decided for whatever reason to help the occupants of the house with the curse, it was obvious she was going to end up liking them, and perhaps even joining them, but I feel like the connection wasn’t quite built up enough for it to really have the emotional impact I wanted when she finally did so. Genauso herzerweichend, süß, magisch und lustig wie Band 1. Perfekt für zwischendurch mit genialen Charakteren und spannender Geschichte. It was good. But not great! Having read a lot of Middle-Grade books, I feel this was unable to hold my attention in the way I had hoped. I believe it was partly due to the fact that I had very different kinds of expectations from the book! But maybe here they can find out how to cure the House’s hiccups, and Nine might finally discover who left her the beloved music box, and who she really is…’Der Einstieg in die Geschichte gelang mir auch hier wieder mühelos. Die Geschichte knüpft da an, wo sie im ersten Band endet. I absolutely loved Eric the troll, I cannot even begin to describe how much my heart just felt for him!! I enjoyed this story, it was compelling, I just felt like the connection between the characters could have been developed a little more. However, the rather unsympathetic main character irked me somewhat and I just couldn't get completely past that. I was waiting for a somewhat bigger shift towards the end, but oh well.

Der Schreibstil ist leicht zu lesen und auch die Geschichte hat es diesesmal wieder in sich.This series has such wit and imagination, this book, even more than the last one, had me laughing out loud, and I love the characters, even though there's not much to them, it's just a warm, magical adventure. Great to read aloud to younger readers too! I received a eARC from the publishers through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. It has not affected my opinions.
