The Baby-Sitters Club Graphix (15 book series) Kindle edition

Kristy's insulted. The Baby-sitters don't pet-sit. But Jessi's always liked animals, and she talks Kristy into letting her have the job.

There’s minimal academic content, but a whole lot of real-world education. Setting up and running a business is a huge undertaking, and the books show how detailed and responsive the girls have to be. There are also big life lessons about navigating friendships and how each person’s family life is hard and wonderful in its own way. The book “The Baby-Sitters Club” (Boy-Crazy Stacy) is a graphic novel by Gale Galligan and Ann M. Martin. It follows two girls named Stacy and Mary Anne that are enjoying their summer before they go to eighth grade next year. Stacy and Mary Anne are going on a vacation to the New Jersey shore together to take care of eight kids. When they go down to the beach Stacy is distracted by a boy named Scott so she goes to talk to him which gets Mary Anne annoyed because she has to take care of the kids by herself. Although Mary Anne is annoyed with Stacy she finds a boy also named Alex. Alex helps Mary Anne take care of the kids since Stacy isn’t helping. Alex is also babysitting his family member so that added a couple of kids to the mix. All of the adults are supportive of the girls’ plans for the club, and try to help when the girls have trouble with each other or their families.

Everybody used to love Karen. She was cute. She was the littlest sister. But now baby Emily is in their family, and Karen feels left out. As a kid I LOVED the Baby-Sitters Club and would often spend hours scouring the library for the next title. Honestly, I probably read the series longer than I should have (reading level-wise), but it always felt like visiting friends. While I have never wanted to be a babysitter, I loved the club idea. As a bossy creative kid this was right up my alley. The friendships in this book was something I had always wanted. This was a series I grew up with and was my favourite for a long time. Confession time, I may have had a bit of a crush on Logan. Karen thinks there's a ghost in her house! But she's never really seen the ghost of Old Ben Brewer -- until now.Although It Is a great read, Things take a romantic turn once Raina Telgemeier stops writing the books. Once Gale Galligan Starts on book 6- There starts to be the drama of cheating, boyfriends & girlfriends, In Boy - Crazy Stacey There are 2 kissing scenes, One more showing & one of the main character from a far perspective- For ages 12+ will interest greatly! Plenty. Claudia breaks her leg as a result of one of Betsy's jokes. Now Claudia is feeling like baby-sitting might be too dangerous and she's talking about quitting the club. Kristy thinks Betsy needs to be taught a lesson, and that the baby-sitters are just the ones to do it. This book was really easy but enjoyable to read. I really like how this is a graphic novel version of the actual book. The pictures were really good a... It was revealed that Ann M. Martin based the character of Mary Anne on herself. [9] [10] Anastasia Elizabeth "Stacey or Stace" McGill [ edit ] Claudia isn't worried when she hears her newest baby-sitting charge, Betsy Sobak, is a big practical joker. After all, how much harm can one little girl do?
