Sherman, Jennifer (April 17, 2020). " 'Manga Planet' Manga Subscription Service Adds to 4 Shonengahosha Titles". Anime News Network. Archived from the original on May 29, 2023 . Retrieved July 18, 2023. The protagonist is well done. He has a great journey from someone more innocent and oblivious to the violence of that country until he becomes a real gangster, but being one of those types of symbol of strength and charisma. Not only that, but it is amazing how he relates to the world of work, taking a position on complex issues such as war crime and the corruption of society. I enjoyed this manga way way too much. You will laugh A FRIGGIN' LOT! You will get turned on and you will get sad, but most of all YOU WILL LAUGH A LOT! There are a number of Laugh out Loud moments and almost all of them WILL make you laugh. You'll find yourself cheering Ken and his gang over and over cause you will get sorta "attached" to them. They're just a fun group of people. Bland-Name Product: A movie Ken watches at the theater was apparently produced by Boniversal Studios, who have the same logo as real-life Universal Studios,

Art Shift: The comedy sections almost seem like they come from a different manga when compared to the rest of the manga. Good All Along: Ban-Phoung had always admired Ken and was trying to protect him from the White Dragon Clan. Another factor is the plot, even though is not original it is still very addictive, the love story while not the main focus is also engaging enough and there are great comedic moments within it. Also, if you really look into it its got more depth than what you would expect.

Subverted when the White Dragon Clan hitwomen are involved. Ken is forced to fight them the first time, and they're all gruesomely killed. In 2005, he published Lovers in Winter. A compilation of 9 out of his 11 hentai oneshots serialized in the adult magazine Comic Aun. but prepare nonetheless. The main characters are all likeable, and I could see anyone being someones favourite. Boichi「サンケン」ユミンのグルメマンガ、17巻と同時発売. Comic Natalie (in Japanese). Natasha, Inc. November 26, 2012. Archived from the original on July 19, 2023 . Retrieved July 18, 2023. The characters of the work, are very well made, each one has its purpose of life and depth and moral. All of them have their historic moment, making us worry about them in addition to

in Japanese). Shōnen Gahosha. Archived from the original on July 19, 2023 . Retrieved July 18, 2023.So the main protagonist decides to confess his love to his classmate, Yumi. She rejected him, because she wants to go to South Korea to become a police officer. As he heard her dream, he decides to go after her, and with some incidents he happened to become a leader of a gang. He moved to Japan in 2004 and stepped into the world of Japanese manga with Space Chef Caisar published in the monthly Comic Gum. Since then he has published many manga and one-shots. The saddest character in the series is the female 'lead' Yumin. She has no personality to speak of. I think there is meant to be some tension regarding the protagonist struggle to hide his identity from her, but she's so bleak that you sometimes forget her existence. She is basically a blank canvas for the author to express his sad sexual fantasies and uniform kink (much like the entire series). being very charismatic. But unfortunately the female characters do not have that same affection on the part of the author, only to be raped or to make scenes of fanservice having little depth, but at least Yumi having a good prominence in the end.

The outset of the story isn't that bad. It's simple and could have acted a solid foundation for a pretty exciting story. It fails miserably when it comes to execution though, and because of the non-existent depth in character portrayal the story falls completely flat. any emotional reward that a regular ending should have. Since there isn't any foreshadowing it makes no sense why certain situations are occurring or why certain characters make random 180 degree personality decision especially in the final arc. Sometimes a character will make a random uncharacteristic decision and they just roll with it for an arc and then retcon it all by giving some half assed explanation even though there was no evidence of that actually happening. Defeat Means Friendship: Ken employs many of his past opponents into his gang, knowing they were good people who happened to work for his enemies. This is, however, completely averted in his stand against the White Dragon Clan. He and his allies kill everyone they can, with Ken later stating he finds them unredeemable. This dark turn of events highlighted when Ken seemingly kills a guy who was a misguided fool manipulated by a false friend... until it turns out Ken did spare him after all.A special little addition i feel that should be mentioned is Boichi's inclusion of how hard he has worked on the manga. He talks about his travels to take lots of different pictures to use as references. I feel that it is a great touch as it gives us, the readers, insight as to how a mangaka goes about working on their art. It's a real treat to see the pictures he takes and comparing them to what he draws. A wonderful aspect of the manga that most certainly should not be over looked.

tldr: It can be really over the top with everything, mostly for the better except for the ecchi which (for me) is really uncomfortable with few exception. ART: If you've been involved with manga at all you probably already know how good the artwork is, especially when drawing people. Outside of the amazing character and landscape/cityscape drawings there are the fightscenes which can be hit or miss with the artwork. It feels like Boichi puts too much detail into them which can make them feel a bit stationary and stiff. Aside from becoming more manly, almost any form of character development is a transparent attempt to fool the reader into thinking that this series is actually capable of plot twists. (rest assure, it isn't) personality. Every single female characters! There is no exception! This genre is spoils their personality and the only interesting thing about them is their breast, and sometimes they give blowjob to our mc. But let me tell you the basic setting of the story. a b 「サンケンロック」10年の歴史に幕、韓国に渡った青年がギャングのボスに. Comic Natalie (in Japanese). Natasha, Inc. February 22, 2016. Archived from the original on October 10, 2018 . Retrieved July 18, 2023.This manga is far from over but from what i have read so far all i can say is that it is amazing. Even though the plot is not the most original thing ever it is very engaging and addictive and this is due to several factors. One day, after helping out an old store owner getting extorted from a local gang, Ken is then made the boss of a small gang by a man named Tae-Soo. Ken now finds himself fighting local gang bosses, protecting the ones he cares for and making sure Yumin never finds out, otherwise he'll lose the girl he loves and get arrested. Probably one of the most funny manga ive ever read, the humor is over the top and exaggerated. Very similar to Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro Chan. I think ima read the beginning volumes just to get a good laugh after finishing writing this lmao high school delinquent as well as the main protagonist who leaves Japan in pursuit of his love, Yumin and drops out of school. While in Korea he lives his life as a shut in for a whole year being not able to locate a real occupation. After saving an old man from being killed by loan sharks, he was scouted and encouraged to join an area gang(gondal) to work under Taesoo as among his underlings. After fighting against Taesoo, he was offered the job of manager rather. He declined since he desired to join the police force alongside Yumin but Taesoo finally controls him into taking the position. His strength and awareness of justice earns him the devotion of the local community as well as his gang. Ken’s parents were killed over the course of a Yakuza war when he was 13. The character design of Ken is greatly impacted from Vash of Trigun Manga.
