I have a 2011 bottle; batch '1035' so perhaps it changed over the years, but there is definitely something special about this dna. There is something else very nostalgic about this scent. It reminds me of a very grown-up version of a similar (although, not as well done) smelling body-spray that I wore as a teenager, whose name I don't even remotely remember, that my father probably bought me at Target. But GG buttons it up, and makes it adult-appropriate, instead of juvenile. It then becomes a little sharp, with notes of pine/juniper. All the aromas remain spiky and aromatic. it smells like cheap cologne. i would not be surprised if anyone told me it was axe. but hey, axe smells kinda good and masculine, and so does this.

In summary, silvery lavender and silvery woods, ethereal orange blossom with hints of smoke, honey, patchouli and dry white tobacco. The late drydown smells of the white tobacco with a bit of vanilla. The opening sets somewhat of a stylish, mature tone, from which the woods (cypress and juniper) begin to step out onto the front-line. This presence increases the mature tone a lot, but the aroma retains this cool and composed oversoul to it. Secondly, this scent in final dry down offers a real delicate interpretation of musk and a much brighter Patchouli that fools my nose. I saw it in the notes, I did not detect it. So light. . . must be the leaves.

Gucci Guilty Parfum Pour Homme is a Woody Aromatic Ambery fragrance that magnifies the true essence of the Gucci Guilty Pour Homme signature. A new and intense vision of masculinity, Gucci Guilty Parfum Pour Homme opens with a lighter, milder, and more modernized aromatic hook of French Lavandin Abrialis and uplifting Lemon Sfumatrice that combine perfectly with the intensity of Juniper. The true essence of Gucci Guilty Pour Homme is magnified at the heart with the deep ambery signature of Spanish Cistus combined with the floral richness of Orange Flower and a spicy hint of Nutmeg. Finally, the mysterious elegance of Indonesian Patchouli is reinforced with the long-lasting sensation of Dry Woods and Musks. OCCASIONS: Formal events, outdoor gatherings, gym, office, business, casual, holidays, vacations, romantic, dating. This is an office-friendly fragrance. I'm not familiar with lilac notes but I suppose that's the prominent floral note I smell. It's balanced out with a delectable mix of spices (pink pepper and patchouli especially) and very subtle vanilla. I can't detect any fruitiness in this despite the peach note. It doesn't have any 'greenness' to it either so it's not sharp at all. Actually, because of the vanilla, it is rather creamy, especially at the dry-down. This should have 100% be a stand alone new fragrance release from Gucci and not a flanker. It is so unique, so pleasent, so different, i like it a lot. The bottle is crafted of cold metal and heavy glass, making an impression of masculinity and luxury. Paired with the feminine edition, all splendid and golden, cabochon grey male bottle seems very elegant and alluring. The middle of the bottle is decorated with a metallic Gucci sign, transparent to reveal the fragrant fluid. As time goes by,a bit creamy woody accord with dominant cedar comes into the game with a wisper of patchouli and with a hint of amber. But every once in a while, whether I like it or not, a mainstream fragrance just sits there on my wrist smelling unapologetically good so consistently that I can deny it no longer. This is one of those fragrances. The juice is the prettiest, softest green-- that ever made the scene. The glass bottle is so heavy and tapered for the hand. Yep. It just feels good. Nice ritual. I would have said they're trolling in the first place by calling it a "cologne"—yet it has no citrus in it whatsoever. You simply can't do by Italian heritage. I don't find that this has an entirely a bad style though. It feels very new age—like a Neo-style take on the Cologne style. Very artistic. Nice technique.
