Description

The side characters brought a lot to the story as well - Holly (fellow intern), Mira (co-worker), Louisa (fabric shop owner), and her professor - all helped Violet figure out herself and her path. If I was to be super specific, I’d probably give this book a 3.25 stars. I wanted to love it SO BADLY because I was taking it with me as my read on my trip to Italy, but ultimately, the amount of things I liked and disliked were about the same. Maybe one day all the languages in the world will come together and become one massive mega-language. With her thirties rapidly approaching and a mountain of student debt looming over her, Violet Luciano’s dream of finishing design school and working in fashion has cost her everything. So when she lands an internship at an up-and-coming fashion brand in Rome, she brings her A game to Italy. With nothing left to lose, Violet plans to win the competition among the interns for the ultimate prize—a job at a New York label. I have been meaning to read a novel by Kate Bromley for a while now, and I'm thrilled I started with Ciao For Now. There are quite a few different tropes woven into it, such as forced proximity and enemies to lovers, and it was a wonderful romcom that I would definitely watch if it were made into a movie. Much of the book is set in Rome which I loved, but I also really enjoyed that it ended in New York with Violet realizing precisely what she needs to do. The book is told entirely from her perspective, which I thought worked quite well for the storyline, and she grows quite a bit by the novel's end. I also loved the focus on fashion and despite this being a romance, it is also about Violet's journey and how she pursues her passion for design.

I also loved hanging out with Violet and her endearing classmates as they interned in the fashion world. I don’t know much about fashion but it was fun exploring that world with them and watching them design pieces for their contest. Matt and Violet will make you fall in love with this story and with everything that makes it uniquely them.Because people who like each other sometimes like showing that they like each other by saying bad things to each other.

Violetta Luciano is a fashion design student, off to Italy for a prestigious competitive internship with 2 of her peers. After a clumsy run-in with a stranger at a coffee shop, she heads to her home away from home. Little does Violet know, that stranger she met in the cafe is her professor’s grumpy son, Matteo, who is now her temporary roommate! I have read all three of Kate’s books. She always delivers an adorable rom com that I can’t put down. Italy 🇮🇹 anyone?? 😍 Below, you’ll find any keyword(s) defined that may help you understand the clue or the answer better. This started great! very funny. I liked how the story evolved. The chemistry between Violet and Matteo is amazing. Romanian: ciao ("hello" or "goodbye"); it is often written as ceau although this form is not officially in the Romanian vocabulary No one in this conversation seems to know that there are lots of different ways to say goodbye in English. WordSense is a free dictionary containing information about the meaning, the spelling and more.We answer the question: How do you spell ciao for now‎?Ciao ( / tʃ aʊ/ CHOW, Italian: [ˈtʃaːo] ⓘ) is an informal salutation in the Italian language that is used for both " hello" and "goodbye". Violet’s immature nature for someone her age - I know she’s in a growth period in her life, but she (and sometimes Matt) read as early twenties to me instead of late twenties/early thirties. In my opinion, the author was trying a bit too hard to make her *~quirky~*. The greeting has several variations and minor uses. In Italian and Portuguese, for example, a doubled ciao ciao/ tchau tchau means specifically "goodbye", whilst the tripled or quadrupled word (but said with short breaks between each one) means "Bye, I'm in a hurry!"
