The X line in contrast aims at another objective. With the X1 you get a nearly perfect budget audiophile turntable out of the box. The sound itself is more neutral and balanced & it requires a better amplifier and better speakers to get the best possible sound. The X1‘s luxury 8 layers of painting and the hand-polished finish are 3-4 times more expensive than simple foils.” Perhaps most striking about its character is the surprisingly wide window that it opens up on the recording. If you’re used to entry-level digital, for example, you’ll be really surprised by just how ‘out of the box’ this sounds.
