When you first open up the lid of the giant Itty Bitty Pretty tea cup, you can see straight away that it is packed full of blind bags and surprise packages to open up and reveal, along with a selection of tea party plates, accessories and a smaller tea pot which can be filled with water (they need that later!

This also brings me to mention that once you have taken the hair accessory off the capsule there’s a hole at the back; this will mean that small parts will fall out. The purpose of these small little plates and pots soon became clear when Neve popped open the next few blind bags. It is also easier to attach the mini wings to the part that goes around the doll first, and then put them on.

The first of those is the Let’s Part-tea tea bags, which need to be added to warm water to dissolve and reveal the accessories hidden inside. It’s worth saying here that the dissolved material can make the water a bit gloopy, so it is recommend that you rinse off the accessories in clean water after to make sure they don’t have bits of the ‘gel’ like substance left on them. The children then played for ages with their little dolls, having a pretend tea party and changing their clothes and accessories, as well as making pretend cake out of the dough that comes with the set. There are some elements which just didn’t work for me personally, mainly the tiny plastic elements with the stretchy mouldable foam.

She is also wearing tall gold open-toe boots and matching waistcoat, with a tiny white top underneath. The teapot is super handy for storing all the parts back in, however as I mentioned earlier I would’ve loved to have seen some draws or pots with lids for storing the smaller pieces in.
