I have to be honest, I really wasn’t too fussed about reviewing yet another pod/mod and I had wondered why Vaporesso would bother upgrading the existing LUXE XR.That soon changed as I got my grubby mitts on one, and it only got better when it came down to vaping on this refined piece of excellence. The usable battery is around 2100 mAh, so I consider it overrated. Most devices are overrated by 20%, but this one is about 25%. I’d expect a 2500 mAh rating at most. It does support passthrough vaping, so you can vape when it’s plugged in. Yet positioning the toggle mid way made a huge difference. Airflow restriction increases to around 50% and a direct lung vape is instantly replaced by a semi restrictive one. Thanks to being compat...RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) = Same as above but imaginethe tube being smaller so it’s harder to breath the same amount through. I was still getting an excellent performance with 11% battery left! So although it only held up for around five hours using the DTL pod (approximately 200 puffs) it performed admirably. The ability to adjust the wattage turned out to be a huge pro over the original, even simple 5 watt increments changed the vape quality to suit my tastes more, decreasing a few watts will also prolong the coils lifespan.
