Description

As you can see there is a huge difference after 20 minutes. The air quality has improved dramatically. Thankfully there was no gas (VOC) air pollution detected in our home which is reassuring. Also knowing that the smaller particles in the air have now pretty much been removed is going to help me sleep at night. Other sensors It has three speed settings and a sleep mode, allowing you to sleep easy while still benefiting from ultra clean air. There’s an allergen function which is ideal for those with asthma or hay fever. It cools a room too so can double up as a fan. There’s very little it can’t do.

We use the H-Purifier on Auto mode most of the time. It’s a ‘switch on and forget about it’ option which takes all the effort out of managing air quality in a room. Promoting good air quality in your home can make a big difference to your health. You should also look into the humidity of your home. High humidity brings moisture into the home which in turn can increase mould growth. Mould spores can then escape into the air and cause all kinds of problems. The Hoover H-Purifier 300 When auto mode is selected the H-Purifier 300 will automatically detect the air quality and turn itself on or off as required. Once it reaches ‘Green’ or excellent air quality it will turn itself off. Should you open the doors and windows to allow un-pure air into the house it may well start up again to clean the air. It all depends on the quality of the outside air and how easily it flows around your home. Who is the Hoover H-Purifier designed for? You can also switch to Max mode for a powerful boost. This is a really useful function when allergy symptoms are bad and you need to create a neutral environment fast. We also use it in our kitchen diner to deal with cooking smells; it came in very handy when we had a major burnt toast incident! Sleep Mode Speed settings. Most air purifiers have a choice of speeds so you can keep it lower for sleeping and turn it up when the pollen count is high. A night mode can also help if you want a quiet setting and dimmer lights while you sleep, although we found this doesn’t always work as well as you’d hope. We’re not sure how well that works in practice, but the UA-HD40U-L is impressively efficient at filtering out impurities and very quiet at its automatic and low-power settings. A strip on the top turns from red to orange to green to indicate the current air quality, and there’s a humidity readout so you can monitor humidity levels, although both this and the “ion shower” feature can be turned off if you just want air purification. Well designed and easy to use, this is a great air purifier for smaller rooms.

Noise is another factor – you don’t want to replace one irritation (allergies) with another (the sound of a jet plane in your room). For many, the hum is something that doesn’t bother them, but some purifiers can get very noisy. It’s also worth remembering that, while some machines are quiet on their lowest setting (where they’re often at their least effective), they might be loud on the fastest (where they’re working at their best). A good feature of this device is the sleep mode. It allows you to setup a quiet operation mode on a weekly schedule. This means you can continue to purify the air at night, when you’re sleeping, without being woken up by the noisy fan. The H-Purifier will continue to operate in super quiet mode so you can have a peaceful nights sleep with lovely clean air. Max mode This is one of those rare dual-function appliances that’s effective at both, and if the only downside is that it’s a bit weird looking, then that’s not exactly hard to live with. Throw in smart features, a good remote, and fairly frugal power consumption, and it’s a great addition to your living room or bedroom. There are many different types of air purifiers on the market but they all have one thing in common: they use filters to clean the air. There are two main types of filters: mechanical and electrostatic. Mechanical filters trap larger particles like pet hair or dust while electrostatic filters attract smaller particles like pollen, smoke, or animal dander. Do air purifiers actually work?

Resolution

Last year we reviewed our Top 3 Quiet Mark Fans and Air Purifiers with Dyson winning our Top Product for the category for 2022. This year we have a new winner as this smart purifier blew us away, hence the stand alone post. The HEPA 13 filter used in the H-Purifier 300 claims to be able to filter out 99.95% of airborne particles of maximum penetration size. Smart features allow you to operate your purifier remotely or switch it on and off according to a schedule. You may also get useful data on air quality, temperature, humidity and more.
