Even more horrifying is seeing Sarah slip from time to time into that mindset; as a Jew, she's one of the people her schoolmates are vowing to destroy, yet there's more than one occasion where Sarah thinks about hurting or even killing someone just because they're weak or unsuccessful. If you do decide to read this I would suggest not going with the audiobook, the narrator is kinda meh and in a few parts some characters are chanting “Holla” (or maybe “Hala”, like I said I went with the audiobook so IDK) and the execution of that is obnoxious as fuck. I think it’s inevitable that the books that mean most to us are the ones we read as children so when I imagined being an author, that was where my head went – albeit into its darker and difficult corners.

I honestly think that if The Captain had had to send Sarah in a later time in the story he wouldn't have, because it was almost like a father/daughter relationship.
