Description

Villa Borghese is a delightful landscaped garden right in the centre of Rome. The gardens cover an area of 80 hectares and were developed in 1606 by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, who wanted to turn his former vineyard into the most extensive gardens built in Rome. Take note that most shows in London start at 7:30 p.m. and the TKTS Booth closes at 6 p.m.. Be sure to get there on time to avoid disappointment!

The rooms are spacious and functional, which is a luxury itself. Even the most luxurious of Venice’s hotels don’t have the largest rooms just because of the nature of the buildings. The king size beds are comfortable and the Canal facing rooms have a superb view of Venice. Don’t linger too long at Oxford Street, because your next stop is Covent Garden. This is a gorgeous little space in the heart of the city with quaint little stores, restaurants, and cafes. Oxford Street is famous for being THE place to go in London to shop. Here, you can expect to see high street brands such as Zara, Topshop, and more, sprinkled in with a few of London’s homegrown shops, such as Hamleys toy store. You can walk up to this area from Piazza Popolo if you’re up for a few stairs! (head into the Piazza from the Porto del Popola and take a left, you will see the stairs in front of you). Wander the Villa Borghese

Tip: Berlin offers a big variety of open air festivals close to the Spree during summer. Have a look which festivals are on once you know your travel details.

The story begins in London on May 31, 1944. An American army major, Jefferson Pike (James Garner), enters Allied Forces HQ to discuss the ongoing invasion preparations. The top brass aren't convinced that Allied deception efforts have fooled the Germans. While poring over a wall map of German troop dispositions in France, Pike inadvertently slides his finger along the edge of the map, incurring a nasty paper cut. You can’t visit London without catching a show. London is well-known for being an epicentre for the arts and culture, bringing in performers from far and wide to its many acclaimed theatres and production companies. Because of this, it’s home to some of the best musicals, plays, and comedy shows the world has to offer.
