Give a good stir with something wide, like a wooden batten or a paint stirrer. If you use an electric paint mixer, also scrape around the sides and bottom of the tin to make sure it's all mixed in. This product should NOT be split. Taking smaller quantities from each tin, even if measured correctly, may cause issues with activating. Of all of the mistakes, this is the most difficult one to fix. If you have applied one of the components, then applying the other one over the top, or trying to mix it on the surface won’t fix it. The whole thing would have to come up and start again. So you really need to make sure you get this part right the first time! New concrete must be allowed to cure thoroughly which can take up to 3 months. Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate. Existing painted surfaces - Surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate "key" is produced. Remove all loose and flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate and prepare accordingly.
