Schritt für Schritt zur Zubereitung von Kaffee mit der Flair Pro-2 Kaffeemaschine Pro tip: once you finished your shot, press out the remaining water into another glass. This will make cleaning up much easier.

The Coffee Journal helps you to capture the most important details of your daily brewing routine in one organized location. Flair Pro 2 has a 46 mm portafilter and a 70 ml reservoir, which is a larger capacity compared to other Flair models. The portafilter and the dispersion screen are made of stainless steel and not plastic. Greutate: 3,18 kg, Dimeniunile husei: 32 cm x 23 cm x 8 cm. Culoare suport: cupru mat (versiunea 2022). Now, I’m not a complete novice when it comes to espresso-making, so I was familiar with some of the pieces included such as the portafilter, the tamper, and the pressure gauge. However, there were still a number of parts I had to refer to the included instructions to learn their purpose. This elongated the setup process for me.The Flair 58 Plus is the new flagship from Flair Espresso. Including everything in the base model Flair 58, the Flair 58+ shines with walnut accents on the portafilter, t-grip and palm tamper. The included articulating shot mirror attaches to the post magnetically and the Flair 58+ features custom branding you won’t find anywhere else. All five models have a similar aesthetic of smooth curves, almost resembling a sculpture. Design is a matter of preference, but I felt this was a showpiece for my counter, and I didn’t want to store it away between brews (Signature and Pro 2 models have copper-plated group heads that I felt were especially gorgeous). Using The Flair Put moka pot base and kettle on the gas stove. Once the moka base is boiling, put group head on. Meanwhile, prep coffee and place portafilter into lever holder. When temp strip on group head is at desired temp (usually 203F), place on portafilter, pour in water from kettle, attach gauge and start pull. Very little wait time between any of these steps and the long pole is the water starting to boil. The moka pot base pre-heat is the best workflow improvement here. Limited serving size — It only brews one espresso at a time, and you have to repeat the process for each shot you pull. This is time-consuming, especially if you’re entertaining and brewing espresso for several people. Raising the bar on manual espresso makers, we’d like to introduce you to the Flair PRO 2. Maintaining all the performance of the original PRO, the PRO 2 is perfect for those looking for cafe-quality espresso, all from a portable, manual, lever machine. The PRO 2 provides for the highest level of manual control of any of our espresso makers. Our PRO 2 Brew Head is larger and allows for different ratios and dialing-in your extractions with our pressure gauge. Improving on the best is what we do.

The PRO 2 is Flair’s highest level espresso machine that maintains a portable footprint. Anyone can learn to brew with the Flair PRO 2, but the process does take some effort, materials, and a small learning curve. Brewing with a Flair is more like cooking a meal for yourself, as opposed to getting takeout or using the microwave. But, if you’re looking for café-quality espresso at home, that you handcraft yourself, the PRO 2 will serve you for a lifetime. MAJOR BREWING UPGRADES – The Flair PRO 2 features three upgrades over Flair’s other manual espresso makers including a removable stainless steel spout, an enhanced all-stainless steel bottomless portafilter with improved flow dynamics, and a silicone lever grip for better brewing ergonomics. Flair Signature has a copper-plated portafilter base. It’s a more expensive option than Flair Neo, but it comes with an integrated pressure gauge and a stainless steel tamper. The instructions from this point on weren’t super clear unfortunately. While there were images to help guide the setup, it was still challenging to identify the pieces in the instructions because, as mentioned, some of the parts look incredibly similar to other parts. Needless to say, I had a lot of trial and error in setting it up the first time.In total, it probably took about 30 minutes to get the Flair Pro 2 working for the first time. After that, it was much easier and took about 10 to 15 minutes to make an espresso. Performance: Hands on, but mostly enjoyable Each Classic comes with everything you need to brew café-quality espresso, anytime, anywhere, including a custom carrying case. Upgrade to a pressure gauge kit on our accessories for precision brewing. Avantajele aparatului de Flair PRO2 Another manual espresso machine on the market is the Europicola espresso machine by La Pavoni. Unlike the Flair, it requires electricity due to its boiler that heats water for both espresso and foamed milk. This means that the water is heated for you when you turn the machine on for espresso.

The models vary in terms of accessories and upgrades they have, but they all have good build quality. These manual espresso machines are made of cast aluminum (the base) and stainless steel (group head, lever, and portafilter holder). Both are durable metals that can withstand use over a long time. The group head has quality rubber inner rings that didn’t leak at all, at least on my Pro 2 model. Featuring everything in the base Flair 58, the Plus model adds an integrated shot mirror, dark walnut wood trims, custom branding and a detachable preheat system. The Flair PRO 2 is an all-manual espresso maker that produces cafe-quality espresso from your home or wherever you are. The Flair PRO 2 allows users to handcraft their espresso with complete control through the use of the custom pressure gauge and ability to utilize various brew ratios. These manual espresso makers are light and portable, weighing about five pounds upwards, even though they have a stainless steel build. Affordable — Manual espresso makers are less expensive than automatic ones. Flair models make the best possible espresso for the lowest price. This is a good choice if you want an affordable model with a pressure gauge but don’t have room in your budget for Flair Pro 2 or Flair 58. Features the Standard Brew Head with a 60ml reservoir and our Bottomless 2-in-1 Portafilter with a capacity of 12-18 grams. Upgrade to use our custom Pressure Gauge. Posting initial impressions of the Flair PRO 2 to aid others considering this machine. (Tried to add this to the PRO thread, but it's closed so starting a new one for the PRO 2)Das kann für Anfänger zu viel sein, um mit Flair zu experimentieren, daher würde ich empfehlen, dass Sie einfach anfangen. Features an industry standard 58mm portafilter, elongated lever and frame, simplified workflow, and Flair’s preheat control system for improved thermal management while brewing. The Flair Classic is the original Flair Espresso Maker that turned the craft coffee industry on its head in 2016. The completely manual, single serve, hand lever-press is capable of brewing between 6-9 BAR pressure, exactly that needed to brew cafe quality espresso from wherever you are. Overall, I’m a fan of Flair espresso makers. They have a durable build, affordable price, and, most importantly, produce great espresso. However, keep in mind you’ll need a quality burr grinder, kettle, and a pressure gauge with some models.
