Printing from the JIK indicator is simple. Place your item on the scale, wait for the stable indication in the bottom right of the display and the press the print button.

Thanks to the groundwork laid here, we also meet all our obligations for business-to-business (B2B) transactions, and our framework can be tailored to meet individual customers’ needs as part of our commitment to a healthy environment. Tare Function: If the items are placed in a container, the weight of the container (tare weight) can be subtracted from the total weight to only count the items inside. This is done by first placing the empty container on the scale and pressing the tare button, which will reset the weight to zero. Then, when the items are added, the scale will display only the weight of the items, not the container. Bench scales are ideal for weighing anything from ingredients to nuts and bolts. They are highly precise at weighing items up to 150kg. Our JIK indicators are fitted with the RS-232 port for data transfer, which means they can send weight information to a PC. We offer both small and large coin scales with a capacity upto 20kg. These money scales are designed to weigh coins of the same denomination, either loose, or in rolls or bags. The coin weighing scales display both the number of coins and value, and cumulatively keep a total of each coin denomination.

Why should a counting scale be used?

The CCEU range is particularly useful within arcades and include token values that can be used for certain games or amusements. Coin weighing scales be used to detect counterfeit coins used in machines and ensure that these are taken out of circulation. For harsher environments, the HSS is constructed from stainless steel which is known for being durable and long lasting. This scale also comes with Trade Approved versions. 2. Counting scales with data output

Re-sampling: If the items being counted might have varying weights (for instance, screws from different batches), then re-sampling might be needed when a new batch is introduced.

Weighing scales are versatile devices used to measure the weight of single or multiple objects. They are typically used for weighing smaller items, such as jewellery or food. The majority of scales feature a plate or bowl platform on which to place the item to be weighed. Analogue scales, or mechanical scales, use a spring mechanism to read the weight of the item. Digital scales use the force of the weight to generate an electric signal and provide an accurate weight reading. Digital scales are ideal for applications where precision is essential. Weighing scales provide a reading in a range of different units, for example in grams (g), kilograms (kg), Pounds (lbs) and Stone (St). Some offer multiple options so it is important that you choose a device suitable for your application. You can find more information in our weighing scales guide. Types of weighing scale Determine the maximum weight: To work out a suitable capacity, take the average piece weight and times it by the quantity you're likely to be placed on the scale. For example, if you have 10,000 screws at 2g the total weight is 20kg. It may be best to choose a slightly larger capacity than you think you will need if your production needs change. Step 3 Not all weighing scales have a counting function, but even the ones that do may work a bit differently from each other. Make sure to read the manual carefully so you know that you’re operating your scale correctly. In general, however, they’ll all include these steps: 1. PreparationThe goal of a counting scale is to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and save time in any process that requires counting of items.

Or if you need to roll goods onto the scale, a Drive Thru scale is the solution you need. A U Frame scale is a portable equivalent to a platform scale, complete with a handle and wheels.
