I also really loved the tsun/shameless dynamic between the main two. It's hilarious at times. There were some really good tearjerker scenes. I loved the entire middle part where Moran learns everything that had been kept from him (the wanton scene). He obviously disliked Chu Wanning. So why was it that sometimes, when he looked at him, he felt so at peace—so warm?I don't condone a lot of things he did. But my god, how can someone not like him after finishing this book.
