Description

In 2014, Flatley created Dangerous Games, a revised spinoff of Lord of the Dance. While maintaining 50% of the numbers from the original show, new numbers were introduced, featuring dancing robots, new songs, new music by Gerard Fahey, and rescores of Ronan Hardiman's pieces. January to 31 December: Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Luxembourg, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland, Macedonia, England, The dancing was superb but overall the show was disappointing. No live music (even the on-stage instruments were mimed - very poorly). No real plot as far as I could tell and the whole show felt very disjointed. The costumes were far too revealing with no real reason to be. A shame as I was really looking forward to it. They have great moves, and indeed navels, but although the technical team looked up, I'm not sure it adds to the high energy show.

Due to unprecedented demand, Flatley is scheduled to make a special appearance from 13 to 24 March at the Dominion Theatre, paving the way for new young superstar James Keegan, who will be performing the lead role of Lord of the Dance. Due to popular demand, following a sold-out run at the London Palladium, Michael Flatley’s Lord Of The Dance: Dangerous Games, will transfer to the Dominion Theatre next year, running for six months from 9 March 2015. My husband and i had already seen Riverdance two years ago in Dublin and thouhgt that was amazing so we were hoping this show would be as good and i can say we were not disappointed, it was just as good. We would recommend to anyone of any age to go and see the she. Well done. This article needs additional citations for verification. You can expect spellbinding stuff as the dancers weave a fascinating good versus evil tale inspired by traditional Irish folklore. The second the lights dim you'll be transported to another time and place. A fiery blend of precision dancing, so skilful you'll be left breathless, state of the art lighting and thrilling pyrotechnics makes this a brand new classic in the art of stage storytelling. The only issue I had were 5 ladies who arrived late, sat in front of us and talked throughout much of the show !! Other than that we really enjoyed our The show exceeded expectations. Loved it real feel good show. Only fault was it finished could have watched forever. All cast are amazing Having not seen any of The Lord of The Dance shows previously, I found the storyline quite difficult to follow (seeing as there was not really any dialogue at all). However the quality of dancing, singing, and instruments was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Nadine: “I am delighted. I have been a fan of Michael and the Lord of the Dance since I first seen it…so the last 20 years. Everything Michael has done just gets better and better every time. When we first met and Michael asked me to be part of the show, I couldn’t believe it. I was on cloud 9 and I still am! Here in the London Palladium singing songs among such amazing cast and creative…I am just so delighted. I can’t thank Michael enough for this opportunity.” Q: [to Michael] How has the show changed? At the first half finale, the whole team, with brilliant front man James Keegan tapping his heart out, made the audience go wild. Loved every minute of it, time flew by and the show was over, couldn't believe it, wonderfull show don't mind seeing it all over agian, thank youO’Connor burst onto UK screens in series three of The Voice and led the original production of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games when it opened at the Dominion Theatre in 2014. Nadine Coyle was one fifth of the pop group Girls Aloud, whose record-breaking success included over 4.3 million singles sales and 4 million albums sales in the UK alone. It's perfect for people aged five or over and anyone who adores the sheer, raw emotional power of dance. Gerard Fahy's music is big and Rachael O Connor has some swooping soul-influenced numbers as Erin the Goddess. This show is beautifully enacted with dance of such perfect synchronicity that you are left in awe. The light show is a mesmerizing, magical experience that leaves you breathless. It is a must for any age, any gender, anybody who wants to be taken to a wonderful world of artistic excellence....
