Again, the reason I’m even doing this is to help share everything I’ve learned with you and others given the current climate and where our world is seemingly headed… The world has shifted. You don’t have to work 40+ hours a week for the next 40+ years of your life just to barely scrape by. It's the first book I've ever read about personal finance and it was mostly great. It's filled with down-to-earth suggestions that you can start putting into practice from right now. But if you're not living in the US, the last part of the book is totally non-relevant. So I think it's ok to skim that part. A mostly solid how-to manual for any age to retire ...more applicable for Gen Z and Millennials but also applicable to X-ers nearing the golden years.

They still have time on their side to build wealth, the energy to put in extra hours, and the chance to try to use his strategies (which are based on the U.S. tax code) to enjoy many years of financial freedom. As a person who studied finance/business, I still found things that were new to me and was shown things from a different angle than I wasn’t used to. Are you taking care of yourself so you can keep showing up stronger, faster, and better for the people counting on you for as long as possible? This book blew my mind. More importantly, it made financial independence seem achievable . I read Financial Freedom three times, cover-to-cover."Financial Freedomis a step-by-step path to make more money in less time, so you have more time for the things you love. It challenges the accepted narrative of spending decades working a traditional 9 to 5 job, pinching pennies, and finally earning the right to retirement at age 65, and instead offers readers an alternative: forget everything you’ve ever learned about money so that you can actually live the life you want. Financial Freedom by Grant Sabatier PDF I’ve been featured in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NPR, CNBC, Business Insider, Yahoo Finance, ABC Nightline, Money Magazine, and many others. I even got to hang out with Rachael Ray on her daytime ABC Show! Why ONE satisfied customer is all you need to start expanding your side hustle into a profitable lifestyle business.

Financial Freedom Advisorsavvy - 7 Levels of Financial Freedom

Rules of the Game: How to use the rigged financial system’s rules to your own advantage… despite the “rich getting richer”. Without money, living with your parents, unemployed, and not knowing where to go. Or, looking for a job, and simply trying to find your way in the world. Grant Sabatier was in this scenario in 2010 and brings his experience in his book "Financial Freedom" I show them that passive income is very real… and that making all the money they need while sleeping is actually a lot simpler than what the “experts” would like them to believe. The purpose of this book is to help you retire as early as possible. When I say retire, I do not mean that you will never work again, except that you will have enough money so that you never have to work again. This is complete financial freedom, the ability to do what you want with your time."What if you had enough money to travel the world for a year or two? Or embark on a new business idea? You’d have to be in level 6 of the 7 levels of financial freedom: flexibility. At this level, you’re comfortably able to pay your bills, enjoy your life, and even remove yourself from the rat race in pursuit of your passions. I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I had read it rather than listening to the audiobook. This book gets into some seriously nitty-gritty territory (which I think is good), and a lot of the time Sabatier is talking about amounts of money that kind of made me laugh (like, LOL, in my dreams). So, this book definitely makes more sense if you're a high earner. Nonetheless, as a non-high-earner, the fact that he presents the topic in such granular and specific terms is actually really encouraging. Throughout the book he emphasizes that your mindset is just as important as the amount of money you're dealing with. If you don't have the mindset that each dollar you save/invest brings you one step closer to retirement, then you probably won't save as aggressively. And that mindset is the foundation for, and motivation behind, all of the strategies presented here. I started to save 15% of everything I earned, then 25%, then 40% and started investing. I put everything I could into investments. I also started reading many of the best personal finance and investing books. Over the past six years I have read over 300 books on personal finance, investing, and other financial topics (almost one a week!). I still don’t get tired of reading about money and continue to learn new ideas. But, I’ve also made a ton of mistakes with money that today have made me a better investor. Money is the biggest cause of stress for people and that stress follows you while you are in school, at work, and in your day-to-day life. While he points out that he could actually have been even more effective with more rest, I still find his sprint to financial freedom to be in tension with advice in the final chapter to choose “life > money.”
