time zones* (27 cities + coordinated universal time), daylight saving on/off, auto summer time (DST) switching Signal Range: Up to 2m (may differ depending on surrounding conditions), The watch can be wirelessly connected to a compatible smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. The energy-saving technology enables access to a host of functions., The watch will automatically synchronise it's time when connected to a compatible smartphone The camouflage detail is complemented with gold accents visible across the analogue dial as well as A rainbow produced by moonlight rather than sunlight. Lunar rainbows are extremely faint, and the colours are difficult to identify with the naked eye unless it is completely dark, making this one of the most treasured and mysterious weather events.

Beauty is enhanced by applying a mirror polish to the edges of the metal parts, and a hairline finish to all surfaces. Features metallic red accent colors. The sapphire glass crystal and the delicate engraving made possible via processing techniques at the Casio Yamagata Factory enhance the texture. At the same time I will show the principle of fastening the strap, but it is far from the simplest here: Smart Access makes it easy to operate multi-function watches. Simply pulling out and rotating the crown provides intuitive control over all functions. Auto receive up to six* times a day (remaining auto receives canceled as soon as one is successful)

To be fair, at the end of the day the MRG case is without a doubt finished to a higher degree. It has the most complex case of any watch I own (yes, including my Grand Seikos even with a 44gs case) and the most impressive finishing, but I found that little bit of detail interesting. The details on the MRG are just incredible in my opinion (I'll post a pic of the multifaceted crown guards to help illustrate how insane it is), but still, you really are about 85-90% there with the b2000.The MTGB1000VL reproduces the frightening yet beautiful blue, purple, and gold colors of the lightning caused by a volcanic eruption with a rainbow ion-plated bezel and a multi-colored dial. The rainbow-colored bezel finished with ion plating is overlaid with the image of the rare atmospheric phenomenon of volcanic lightning, which produces subtle differences in coloring that allow each wearer to enjoy their own unique glow. The MTGB1000VL is also the first MT-G series model to use a semi-translucent red soft urethane material for the band—to represent the aggression of magma bubbling up—rendering a distinct image of power on the wrist. months on rechargeable battery (operation period with normal use without exposure to light after charge) MTG-B1000 Limited Editions *unique style, materials, and price MTG-B1000DCM-1A MTG-B1000RB-2A MTG-B1000TJ-1A MTG-B1000WLP-1 MTG-B1000B-1A4 MTG-B1000VL-4A I wish I had a high quality camera on hand to demonstrate the differences here, but I don't so you will just have to take me and my fuzzy photos at their word. The b3000 is finished exactly how you would expect a Yamagata line watch to be finished. It appears to have 4 different types of finish and of course the case is designed of a complex variation of angles. I consider it to be the equal, if not slightly the superior of the b1000, but ultimately it really only goes to show how superior the b2000 is in this department and how close it is to a MRG. The b3000 is finished to a high degree, but the b2000 seems to be the pinnacle up to this point and the model that can possibly make you question the value of jumping up to that next MRG level. In my pedestrian, blurry pics below I tried my best to show the difference between the lines of delineation on both the b2000 and b3000, and I even included a MRG photo to help demonstrate the disparity, but they're not the best quality so I apologize. As promised, crown guard pics between the 3 that I think really demonstrate the commitment to details.

Polishing technique is applied to selected areas of the case and the bezel to create stunning mirror-finished surfaces Tough Solar (CASIO’s original solar-charging system converts not only sunlight but also light from fluorescent lamps and other sources into power) Auto Summer Time (DST) Switching, Auto Time Correction, Hand Alignment Correction, Phone Finder, World Time (approx. 300 cities)

Beauty is enhanced by applying a mirror polish to the edges of the metal parts, and a hairline finish to all surfaces. The sapphire glass crystal and the delicate engraving made possible via processing techniques at the Casio Yamagata Factory enhance the texture. Even my MRG doesn't have that, nor does the b3000 (although the center link on the b3000 does have 5 facets, while the b2000 has 4 excluding that edge). After the Alert: The following operations are stopped to save power: all hand movement (excluding the day indicator), Bluetooth connection, if applicable, and alarms What we like in MTG-B1000 *comments by experts with 10years experience in writing about Casio watches

A core guard structure is used to protect the module by integrating the lug arms and pipes that connect the band. Carbon fiber reinforced resin is used for the center case to reduce weight and improve impact resistance. For the first time in an MT-G series watch, this model uses of a soft, mid-size urethane band, improving wearability and making the connection between the case and band vibration-resistant. Update. So with over a week now of wearing the b3000 off and on I have to say it is by far the most comfortable MTG out there. It is so light and thin you forget it is even on thecwrist unlike any of the previous models. The previous models feel conspicuously cumbersome on the wrist in comparison and while I still think the b2000 is the pinnacle in terms of finish, the b3000 is absolutely superior in terms of comfort and wearability. I agree with you that wearability and the finish on it is fantastic. I find the contrast of the shine of the metal to the dark color of the resin to be very striking rather than a mash of different tones of silver and steel steel that this model could have ended up with. The contrast of that dark resin and steel coloring is really, really nice and gives the watch character, and coupled with the finish and the angles on the watch, definitely makes it very good looking. Radio-controlled Watch; Multi band 6 (additional way for time sync. This watch receives time calibration radio signals that keep the displayed time accurate) The 1000 model is tied for my favorite watch of all time (the Nighthawk is the other one). I have multiple 1000s and 2000s so I find the 3000 interesting in what it’s trying to do but also kind of stupefying on what it gets wrong because at this point Casio should know better. What bothers me is the same issue I had with the 2000; why have a mechanism to easily change the bands if you don’t have the bands readily available? The mechanism for changing the bands on the 3000 model is even easier than what was on the 2000 model yet sourcing the pieces to complete a band is a giant pain in the ass. It should not be this difficult to get a replacement part, especially when Casio is advertising swapping the bands as a highlighted feature of this watch. engraving process that uses multiple sized dots, resulting in an almost 3D textured finish.

About the Watch Design. The MTGB1000VL of the MT-G series of watches, which are known for a construction that combines metal and resin, boasts a striking multi-colored design that represents volcanic lightning. The camouflage detail is complemented with gold accents visible across the analogue dial as well as gold coloured buttons and crown. The screw connection on the base of the housing optimally protects the inner workings of the watch and simultaneously provides easy access, when changing the battery.
