The Nespresso Creatista Plus has a sleek design with its high quality stainless steel finish. The machine is small and compact just like the Nespresso Creatista Uno but only comes in a silver stainless steel color. Another difference in terms of capacity between the Creatista Uno and Creatista Plus is that it has a capsule capacity of 16 instead of 12. Functionality You'll notice that there isn't as much choice with the Vertuo machines. There are just a few different versions (largely aesthetic differences) of the three machines. Vertuo plus, Vertuo Chrome & Vertuo Next. You’re also going to want to know how durable the product is, so here we’d advise taking a look at the materials that the Coffee machines are made from. But the cheapest Nespresso genuine pods are around 35p, and thanks to the huge availability of compatible pods for original Nespresso, you can get compatible pods for as little as around 7p each.

One thing to note, if you're currently a Nespresso original user, is that although it's Nespresso, the Vertuo machines make coffee which is quite a bit different from the original Nespresso. We are continually making improvements to our tests. We last changed our test programme in April 2023 which means that, if you’re looking at results for coffee machines tested before and after this date, they will not be directly comparable. You'll never be able to get the same, genuine coffee shop quality milk texture with an Aeroccino, or with a one touch milk Nespresso machine. With both of these options, you'll get OK “homemade” cappuccinos and lattes, etc. The Creatista series features Nespresso's top-of-the-line offerings with three models to choose from: The Nespresso Creatista Plus comes with a digital display that makes it easier to navigate through specialty drinks. In terms of ease of use, it is fairly simple to operate with its knob and button. These controls are used to also program brewing styles, steaming control, and milk control. Who Is The Nespresso Creatista Plus For?I have this Nespresso machine, and I've had it for a few years now, about 4 years I think at the time of writing. The Nespresso Creatista Pro is sleek like the Creatista Plus but has brushed stainless steel rather than stainless steel body panels. It also only comes in a silver color like the Creatista Plus. In terms of capacity, the Creatista Pro can hold up to 68 ounces of water and 18 capsules while the Creatista Plus only holds 51 ounces and 16 capsules. Functionality With the Nespresso Creatista Pro, you can comfortably craft café-style quality coffee, personalised to your taste. The Nespresso Creatista Uno is an impressive machine that is able to use 19 bars of pressure to brew a shot of espresso. In terms of brewing sizes, the Nespresso Creatista Uno can brew a Ristretto (0.85 Oz), Espresso (1.35 Oz), or a Lungo (3.72 Oz). However, if you would like to tweak the brewing sizes this machine will allow you to reprogramme all 3 sizes.

I'm using the quote marks, as it's really not crema – it's foam. Crema isn't just foam, but I won't get into this here. Briefly, if you want true crema, you need true espresso, you won't get true crema from anything else. While original Nespresso pods are made for 25ml – 110ml coffees, Vertuo offers a range from single espresso all the way to Alto – which is 414ml, about three quarters of a pint!Simply swipe and select to enjoy café style coffee at home. Innovative colour touch screen allows you to easily select from the café menu. The interface provides step by step on screen guide for machine set up and first use as well as necessary cleaning processes. Cafe Style Coffee at Home. All Creatista machines are designed to offer the most authentic specialty beverage experience with a real, stainless steel frother like you'd see on a high-end commercial espresso machine. By comparison, Nespresso's other machines designed to make milk-based drinks either come with an Aeroccino frother (like the CitiZ & Milk) or an integrated plastic frothing arm (like the Lattissima Pro) that makes "good enough" foam but limits how great the foam can be. Availability and Variety. When you look at other disk and capsule coffee machines, from what I can see none quite have the range and availability of pods that Nespresso offers.

Instead, he started from scratch in a bid to replicate the espresso served in one particular ultra-popular espresso bar in Rome – but from the convenience of a home coffee machine. The only slight negative is it's a bit on the violent side when it comes to the pump, if you're using a lightweight cup on the fold-out cup tray you do need to just keep an eye on it so that the cup doesn't walk its way right off the thing. This is because there are currently no compatible pods for Vertuo, and I doubt there will be for quite some time.

What this means is that you have to use genuine Nespresso Vertuo pods, and where you can buy them from is limited to, which isn't the case with original Nespresso pods which you can get from virtually anywhere. I do think Nespresso original is the best kind of pod machine, at the time of writing, when it comes to variety, as there is a fairly wide variety of genuine Nespresso pods and a huge variety of compatible pods. But, I don't believe it's possible to quite match the huge variety of whole bean coffee with pod coffee. Time matters to you and you want to shave off a few seconds of your drink prep by running espresso and milk at the same time

If you're comparing the cost of genuine Nespresso original pods vs Vertuo pods, it's going to work out cheaper, usually, to use one bigger Vertuo pod vs using multiple original pods to reach the same volume & strength. If you're wondering about the Sage/Breville relationship – the machines we know as Sage Appliances in the UK, are produced by Breville Australia. So make sure to go through each product review and comparison table to see which Nespresso Creatista coffee machine is best for you. You can browse and buy your favourite blends and intensities at Nespresso Boutiques located in the following John Lewis & Partners shops: They're known as “Sage” here simply because the brand name Breville was sold in Europe in the 80s, so they can't use that brand here.

Favre, the industrious and persistent inventor who came up with the idea for what ultimately became the Nespresso machine, didn't look at the way espresso machines worked and then re-engineer them. It is made of brushed stainless steel and has an even larger color HD screen than the Creatista Plus, and it's a touch screen at that.
