The OTT giant Netflix has been notorious for blatantly pushing its own agenda rather than focusing on its premium job, which is to offer quality content and ENTERTAIN its viewers. But, the platform has finally found the right man to put an end to its miseries and clean its image as a wokeism-inflicted platform. Without resorting to swear words, abuses or intimate scenes, Neeraj Pandey has managed to craft a gripping and well-acted series. The lead actors have done a competent job of acting, even if there is nothing exemplary. However veteran actors like Ashutosh Rana, Ravi Kishan and Abhimanyu Singh are a delight to watch.

According to the reports, Chandan is an Indian gangster and politician. He is well-known as a member of the Ashok Mahto gang. He was also wanted in many cases including 30 cases of murder and abduction. He was also involved in the Nawada jailbreak on December 23, 2001. As per Wikipedia, Pintu Mahto killed three police officers during the prison breakout. In a story the Hero is as good as bad is his villain. In Bihar Diaries, the responsibility is taken by Vijay Samrat, a man whose notoriety increases with every heinous crime he commits. And with time his reach extends to the lowest and highest strata of Bihar society. Lodha's first brush with fame came after the "Gabbar Singh of Sheikhpura" case came to light. He pursued the notorious Mahto gang (Pintu Mahto, Ashok Mahto), which was accused of various crimes, including the murder of 15 people and breaking into prison after killing two police officers. The series was announced in October 2022, [11] and teaser of the series was released on 28 October 2022. [12] The official trailer was released on 5 November 2022. [13] The series was renewed for a second season in August 2023. [14] Casting [ edit ] Well researched series. Kumar sanu lives on in hearts and minds of people in interior of Bihar. Till date, it's impossible to cross any 'gumti/auto/condiments shop etc without hearing Kumar sanu's voice blaring saajan, phool or kaante, aashiqui songs. The references to casteist equation is hard to miss and has been quintessential to Bihar politics. Language, diction, slangs in series very well mirrors how majority of Biharis communicate.

It was also interesting to see how policing actually works (or at least some parts of it) and what are the challenges that a cop faces in their everyday life. Also, Mr Lodha is very honest in admitting the fears that go through a policeman's mind and how risky things are for them and their families. It isn't just a tale of bravado or machismo. It humanises a cop and shows how they have fears, doubts and shortcomings but when the going gets tough how they put their duty first and overcome all of this. Money, muscle and media became the tools of individual political leaders initially. With the passage of time, the political system was gradually overtaken by these three elements. In the naked pursuit of power, political parties and leader readily accepted these elements as crime and criminals ensured electoral victory for them and their candidates. The series very nicely captures Bihar. Every bihari or Jharkhandi is sure to call in love with this dialogue "Sir mai nahi . .hum boliye ....isme pyaar hota h". Lots of caste issues also brought up and how caste wars also took place in those days. The series makes sure that the good and the bad person are of equal strength so that the face offs are exciting. What is actually done extremely well is the screenplay and performance and also, the story telling . It's extremely engaging, so much so that you can easily binge watch this series in a day. With the real representation of village life, strong dialogues and titular song “ Aiyana Humra Bihar Me” takes the strong writing of the book to a next level in the web series. The web series has revived the horrific time of the Jungle Raj and virtually recreated the same socio-political and cultural environment of the late 1990s and early 2000s. It has, without any malice or political correctness, presented the ugly side of politics and how often politicians become impregnable shields for criminals.

Another highlight was the absence of unnecessary profanity and sex scenes which came as a welcome change👍👍 As I began reading the book, it was more like a film script that brought about a deadly villain whose deadly horror had kept Bihar in its worst of conditions. Vijay Samrat – the criminal who had grown over the years into a crime hungry person pleased with the sight of blood. His heinous crime rate is in full swing when a the hero of the story, the IPS Office Amit Lodha is posted to Bihar. Pintu Mahto is living a normal lifestyle in Bihar along with his family. He makes income from his political career. His estimated net worth is around INR 2-3 Crores (approx.). The administration of US President Joe Biden said Wednesday it would develop a strategy to combat Islamophobia - an announcement that comes as tensions simmer nationwide over the war between Israel and Hamas militantsGangsters like Pintu Mahto, who was accused of nearly thirty murders and kidnappings, including the murders of three police officers and Congress politician Rajo Singh, made up the Ashok Mahto gang. The Ashok Mahto gang in Warisaliganj and Sheikhpura, both in the Nawada district, was led by Pintu Mahto (Chandan Mahto). Rajo Singh, a sitting Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), was killed in 2005 by Ashok Mahto and his gang. According to Wikipedia, in 2002, Ashok Mahto escaped from the Nawada prison. Pintu Mahto was a member of Ashok Mahto gang Amit Lodha, who hails from Jaipur, studied at IIT Delhi. However, he recalled in an interview that his time at the institution was not pleasant; he claimed to suffer from an inferiority complex as he found it challenging to blend in.
