There is so much detail to enjoy in both the pictures and the story that I'm sure this will withstand loads of rereads, and with full colour throughout I think it's fantastic value too. The brilliant illustrations obviously add a whole other layer to the story, with plenty of extra clues to be spotted and jokes to be enjoyed. It seems Anonymoose does not pay particular attention to the fact that Owlfred cannot swim and has feathers. Alongside a witty story of villains, trickery and deception, we’ve some wonderful word play and storytelling from Mo O’Hara. Therefore, it’s with a heavy heart, and his trusted assistant Owlfred, that Anonymoose arrives at the beach.

Posing as a mermaid on a billboard is a little worrying, especially when it draws the interest of pelicans and one particular barracuda… Mo O’Hara offers a moose-load of puns in this graphic novel, alongside cracking jokes and diversions. As well as a cracking plot, there are loads of hilarious moments along the way that are almost like mini comedy sketches, and plenty of twists and turns as our heroes follow their leads and track down a turtle-napper. After a brief and unsuccessful stint as a serving wench at the Tower of London Mo found work as an actress and comedy performer. Jess Bradley's illustrations have lots of their own jokes as well, and manage to be both action packed and adorable. Mo has toured all across the USA and the UK and has also visited schools and festivals in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
