As you might suspect, this was the designer doldrums whipping boy of its era much like whichever Bleu de Chanel (2010) clone or Dior Sauvage (2015) smell-alike would be to anyone in the late 2010's. Still have around 2cm left in the 100ml bottle and hardly use it because I don't want it to run dry. way though it could easily be unisex, airy moist and fresh sort of spring water fantasy like, very likeable and appealing, open and light ideal for daytime, is this sexy or seductive? Anyways today the first spray is beautiful, fresh, and woody with a touch of sweetness which is amplified with the mandarin orange it contains.

Mania has a very light vibe, not a sex fragrance and in your face, but a very calm and slightly 'im in control of the situation'. It could sort of work for date wear as well, but I would go with something more bold like Emporio Armani Night. It will surely make heads turn once they get a whiff off your neck or nape (which usually where the pulse points are located). Once Mania arrived, what i saw on it was a velvet version of Donna Karan Black Cashmere, another of my favorites fragrances among Kingdom, Nu EDP, M7 and Le Feu d’Issey. I consider myself,large, perfume aficionado, connoisseur and even,and I really can not say,this is unacceptable!

The thing with Mania is you get the amber and moss in the drydown but it still stays fresh with the cedar and vetiver in the mid notes. It can be easily overshadowed by other contemporaneous that have a similar vibe but the scent of this is really amazing.

Opening is rather bitter-spicy (reminiscent of a tamer saffron opening found in MFK's Oud EDP) with the saffron and a hint of (bitter) citrus, which then blends into a nice mix of cedar, musk and some vague, ephemeral sweetness. It’s misterious, but not necessarily mistic, and it seems to have a more austere aura than you would expect from an Armani Fragrance.The guy in in front of me was wearing this, as was I, and we turned to each other and smiled and briefly chatted about the recognition. Also, it holds up on fabric so if you spray Mania liberally onto your clothes you'll have a better ride.
