Founded by Henry Lindeman in 1843, Lindeman's has consistently crafted award winning wines making it one of the world's most respected and enduring winemakers. I tasted this wine with a friend of mine and he suggested that this wine might go well with a dessert that’s not overly sweet. Like a pastry or non-sugary apple pie. Consistent climate of South Eastern Australia with long sunshine hours and low humidity allows Lindermans Tollana to achieve consistency of flavour that has made its wines so popular thorought the world. A gentleman does not use a thousand words when ten good ones will suffice. He uses a thousand words only when reciting verse or quoting a person far less succinct. We loved the Lindemans Shiraz Cabernet so when we were offered this parcel it was an easy decision to list this wine for you, a bargain Aussie glugger!

A gentleman does not let his taste in clothes speak louder than his taste in company and conversation, though sometimes his company speaks much more loudly than he. Food pair: We glugged this on its own and thoroughly enjoyed it but this with pair well with most meat dishes, pasta dishes or a roast dinner too, versatile really!A gentleman can make a perfectly emphatic point without the use of profane language. This is not to say he is not versed in profanity. But he frequently has something better to say. Overall this is a very enjoyable Shiraz. It’s not too complex but it does have a lot of presence. It’s rich and really hits you over the head with its flavor.

A gentleman never mind or eyes wander during conversation. He is an excellent listener. Proficient at both well-deployed witticisms and engaged silence. He does not interrupt, and has never been successfully interrupted.

The wine’s flavor was smooth with overtones of ripe plum and dark cherry. Some mellow spice was also noticed.
