I adore the bad boy trope, but Crew was not a bad boy… he was a worm. Actually, not even that because worms are very integral to the ecosystem serving a purpose on ground renewal and nutrients. Crew cannot even attest to being as useful as that. The characters, the storyline, the spice and everything in between was executed beautifully. I think what everyone will enjoy the most is how the author brings the title of the book into play. It was one of my favourite scenes and I hope someone appreciates it as much as I did! The virginity of the female lead was one of my concerns before reading. I was wary about how it would be handled—whether she'd give it away to the first boy she sees or whether she'd be heavily pressured into it but after meeting Crew, my doubts just flew out the window. Not the author trying to redeem Crew by having him threaten to end a girl’s life for the same terrible behavior he partakes in 🤡. Ladies and gentlemen we are stopping our usually broadcasted review to bring the news that Daughter of Paper and Stone is tired of trying to form coherent thoughts and is just going to leave very specific reactions to the horrific book up ahead. Be warned that some of the contents may make people implore with the outrage that she did as well. threw her a new years birthday party (her dream was to have this party, but she didn't want to as she thought everyone hates her and fakes being her friend)

PROS: ̶c̶r̶e̶w̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶h̶u̶g̶e̶ I meant the characters and their development. Really beautifully written. I’ve heard from more than one person that I scare her. Intimidate her. I am everything she fears, as well she should. It’s been three years, four months, two days and a handful of hours since the first moment I set eyes on her. stalks wren by going to an art show she was supposed to attend with her family, but they ditched her, so he gives her company instead, and urges her to be confident and buy a painting she likes. After leaving Lancaster Prep, Spencer Donato has had to step up into his family business. getting his hands dirty for a while he is pleased to have been moved into a behind-the-scenes role. Attending his best friend’s wedding brings him face-to-face with Sylvie again after not seeing her since she finally gave up her virginity to him before promptly marrying an older man. Their relationship over the years had been up and down, Sylvie drawing him in before pushing him away time and time again.

You see, West and I? We share a secret. On a hot summer night in Paris, we hooked up. And I never do that. Ever. I revealed parts of myself to him I’ve never shown anyone else. He’s seen me at my most vulnerable. I told him my secrets. And he told me his. In Paris, he was sexy. Protective. Even dare I say…sweet. All the boys in this book are scum and cannot be redeemed. If the author had made that clear instead of making excuses, having them owning up to them… I would still have thrown the book into the fire but I would have not jumped in the remaining skeleton of it just to make sure it was completely destroyed. But when their lives unexpectedly collide, Wren discovers there's more to life than good grades - and Crew finally understands what it's like to care about someone other than himself . . . Steamy, romantic and totally addictive, this is a story that proves that true love really does happen when you least expect it . . .Lovely literature right there. Especially when he proceeds to call someone else a misogynist after a few chapters of related thoughts. Let me just say I wanted to love this book. I really did. It was one of my most anticipated releases this year and turns out I was so hyped for nothing at all. i don’t even know when to stop pointing out the red flags bc this whole book is little red riding hood. let’s stop romanticizing toxic relationships (and books) in 2023.
