Description

The average temperature for the upper side under maximal load is 35.3 °C / 96 F, compared to the average of 32.7 °C / 91 F for the devices in the class Smartphone. Rear Camera: 2160p (at 30fps), 1080p (at 60fps/30fps)| Front Camera: 1080p (at 30fps), 720p (at 30fps) The 8-MP ultra wide-angle camera produces sharp photographs with punchy colours. Howbeit, the pictures taken with the ultra wide-angle camera look a little grainy. In low-light conditions, the ultra wide-angle shooter fails to capture any detail. There is no optical zoom. Pictures shot using digital zoom appear very blurry. The additional 2-MP macro camera performs worse than the main camera when it comes to macro photography.
In Pro mode, users can adjust the shutter speed, brightness, ISO and the white balance for each camera. There is no Pro video mode. Videos taken with the Xiaomi smartphone look about as good as the photographs. Video can be recorded at 1080p and 720p at 60 or 30 FPS. The Redmi Note 10S can only record 4K video at 30 FPS. Supporting WideVine L1, the device can stream YouTube and Netflix in HDR using supported content, and the display generally gets bright enough to combat the sun.

All this and more powered by MediaTek Helio G95 with HyperEngine Game Technology and a massive 5000mAh battery supported by 33W Fast charger (in-box). Fun Fact: With the 33W Fast Charger, you can charge as fast as 54% in 30mins and 100% in 78mins (slightly above an hour). There are, however, options from the competition that have better displays, faster performance, better cameras, faster charging and more – and that have a far less cluttered software experience. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is a very energy-efficient smartphone. In fact, it takes the top spot in our comparison chart when it comes to power consumption. In the Geekbench benchmark, the power draw peaked at 8 W. If you are in the market for a cameraphone, the Redmi Note 10S should not be your first choice. Performance The Redmi Note 10S comes with Android’s standard keyboard, which is known as GBoard. It offers a lot of customisation options and is suitable for typing longer texts. The touchscreen reacts reliably and promptly to inputs. The drag-and-drop functionality works very well because the screen surface is very smooth.

We test every mobile phone we review thoroughly. We use industry-standard tests to compare features properly and we use the phone as our main device over the review period. We’ll always tell you what we find and we never, ever, accept money to review a product. For an utmost immersive viewing experience we have a 16.33cm (6.43) Super AMOLED Display with a peak brightness of 1100nits. The display also comes with Corning® Gorilla® Glass protection and SGS Certification for Low Blue Light. A 100% DCI-P3 that helps with a rich viewing experience. Some parts of the Redmi Note 10S, such as the camera and the display, were clearly sacrifices to help Xiaomi hit a certain price point. This general perception fortunately doesn’t carry over into general performance.

The question of software is a little less positive than that of the performance itself. Xiaomi has long utilised its own spin on the general Android interface, called MIUI. At its best, it adds some useful features, at its worst it duplicates features and adds advertisements.All-day battery life With a 5,000mAh battery, the Redmi Note 10S has no issue lasting all day, with the potential to last two days depending on usage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Review | Trusted Reviews

Camera Setup: (f/2.45 Aperture), Camera Features: Timed Burst, AI Beautify, AI Portrait Mode with Bokeh and Depth Control, Video Features: Timelapse The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S is not that smartphone, but it is also not condemned by that fact. Possessing a decent display, fast enough performance, passable cameras and lots of battery life, it has a number of redeeming qualities that make it worthy of interest. It is a good all-rounder that will work well for most people. Thanks to a 2-MP depth sensor, the 64-MP main camera of the Redmi Note 10S can produce very detailed close-up shots. The colours look very natural. However, faraway objects often turn out blurry.
