Interestingly, it is not as loud as the TOCP-6480, it sounds even more natural. If you have a nice revealing system with extended highs, the new mini-LP version should sound quite good on it. If your system does not do highs that strongly, the original UK CD might work best.

Even '50 Words For Snows' is now a little brighter: you can hear more clearly the drums and even the bells The original UK 1984 CD (mine was pressed in Hanover Germany) sounds good, perhaps a bit too bright. The Japanese TOCP-6480 sounds a bit warmer and not as bright. It also is louder, perhaps with a bit of maximization, but overall it sounds the most naturally balanced - not too bright like the UK 1984. I compared TKI to the original 1984 EMI UK CD CDP 7 46042-2 and the Japanese CD TOCP-6480. First let me comment on these two before the new Mini-LP version. No "Remember Yourself" etched into the A side matrix as the original issue does. The '5' and '6' matrices indicate that this disc was pressed after the original issue (which was '4'). Date of issue cannot be definitely determined - it could be 1979 as per the original issue.
