His tenth novel, BAD DAD, was an immediate number one, following the triumph of THE MIDNIGHT GANG, the biggest-selling children’s book of 2016.

When I first started the book, I really believed that with what seems rather a substantial read, could not possibly have maintained the same momentum throughout; I really felt it would have to slow down and the humour diminish somewhat with its progress - how wrong I was! They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. to mention just a mere handful of hilarious gems that will have you roll around the floor with laughter in this.

Multi-talented David Walliams is the fastest growing children’s author in the UK market, selling an average of 20,000 books each week. Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook). But really, I have been seeing a few reviews saying it is frightning and apparently not sutable for children. Don't miss this terrific tale from the West End producers of David Walliams' Gangsta Granny and Billionaire Boy, which were both nominated for an Olivier Award! David's books have achieved unprecedented critical acclaim - and both RATBURGER and DEMON DENTIST won the National Book Awards Children's Book of the Year. Tony Ross's illustrations work brilliantly with Walliams's text; there's plenty of fast-paced action; and the jokes are gleefully ghoulish (and often gross). David’s books have now exceeded 100 non-consecutive weeks at children’s number one, and have been translated into 53 languages, selling more than 35 million copies worldwide.

It follows in the vein of Roald Dahl stories, with delightfully quirky illustrations (in the Kindle version, at least), to accompany the at-times alarming story of 12-year old Alfie. The characters are well-drawn, in particular hero Alife, who is also a carer for his disabled dad, and the terrible villain really is truly demonic. Initially I had bought a few of the David Walliams books for my son as was recommended in the school read list.

To access your ebook(s) after purchasing, you can download the free Glose app or read instantly on your browser by logging into Glose. Yet whilst this book is unlikely to dispel any dentist fears, there's enough humour in the mix to prevent it becoming too terrifying for the majority of young readers. There's also surprises; I thought for a long time that the social worker was in league with Miss Root!

Subsequently, have bought most of the DW books for the kids and see them reading the books repeatedly, which has been a good diversion from being hooked onto gadgets.

I'm not rudely dissagreeing with the reviewer, but personally this book is sutable for children over 7, as littler children get more scared, including that there is some words they won't get. The latest jaw-achingly funny, number-one bestselling novel from David Walliams - now out in paperback. The people who read this made their own decision to get ths book, if they are frightened by the demon dentist, it's their problem not anyone elses.
