It’s in the Match where you’ll also find a dedicated laceless option on top of the usual laced model. Kids Future Forefoot has no structure and feels extremely soft and pliable; comfortable feel favourite part of Jay Mike about the Future

Putting on the boot isn’t a chore despite how small the mouth looks. All you need to do is to loosen the top laces and in goes your feet. The Puma Future Z fits perfectly width and length wise when I went half a size down. Those with super wide feet should go true to size but for everyone else, go half down. The boots feel light on feet at 220g in a US 9 and you’d be hard-pressed to hear anyone having issues with its weight or how they fit especially when you take your first steps in them. The compression bands held my feet firm and pivoting around in the Z soleplate is effortless, even on artificial ground (AG). Puma’s firm ground (FG) boots tend to be quite AG friendly and the Puma Future Z is no exception, earning our seal of approval for AG pitches. Midfoot is relatively tighter than the rest of the upper; Evoknit though feels premium and has a nice firm stretch; best knit material any football boot these days; sorona yarn tightness more of reassuring than uncomfortable one (Jay Mike is narrow-footed); still says Future Z 1.3 is decently wide but might need some actual testing to see how adaptive the Fuzionfit+ for really wide-footed players Engineered to enhance the playing style of the world’s most exciting and entertaining players, FUTURE Z is built around an adaptive FUZIONFIT+ compression band. That immediately gives them an innovative look, something we have clearly seen Puma take advantage of over the past few weeks. From release images, my biggest question surrounding the FUTURE Z is how pliable the upper material would be? Being a knit material, you would expect them to stretch around your foot, but pictures make them look a little rigid. Also, the lacing is very interesting across the midfoot. That large gap between eyelets (basically the large X across the middle) has me wondering what the comfort is like when you tighten them.Would I Buy Them: Absolutely, yes. They have so many positives on offer, are dynamic, adaptable and very comfortable to wear. Has sleek shape with low toe box; less foam than Future Z 1.4 but still very comfortable and welcoming With the release of FUTURE Z, Puma was able to introduce a new type of game changing boot while also highlighting Neymar as the feature player set to wear them. That is a pretty nice way to be able to promote a new silo!

When it comes to touch, you do get a much closer feel of the ball as compared to any Puma Futures of the last 3 years. I felt quite connected to the ball when I make my passes, shoot or even when receiving it at pace. However, I can’t shake off the feeling that the touch feels pretty… average and dull? It’s not bad but it doesn’t feel unique or special like some of the previous Puma boots I’ve worn. The first time I put the boots on, I thought the compression band was tight around my midfoot – if it was a little tighter, the band would have caused cramping in my feet. Within a couple of minutes of light jogging and warm ups, my concerns and the tightness melted away. The compression band is comfy AF. The Puma Future Z is all about mobility It’s not a deal breaker but I’d like the TPU coating to be thinner and to have a little more knitted material on that upper to provide a more luxurious touch on the Puma Future Z. I did a Reus – I went laceless In play, you will immediately get a feel for what is has to offer. First off, the stud configuration is very balanced, ensuring you feel comfortable with no pressure points. Visually, they actually remind me of orange slices, in shape with a unique little pattern on each one. And they are the type of boot that can be worn on FG and AG surfaces, I had the opportunity to test them on both with positive results. The Future Pro are less premium than Neymar’s boots, but the two still have that quality feel nonetheless and made even more attractive by its significantly cheaper valuation. It retains the Fuzionfit compression band, Dynamic Motion System tooling, and PWRTAPE on the sides. Match And again, I’m loving the knit collar. It is one piece of innovation in recent years that has elevated boot performance. It creates a sung connection around your ankle, with the added stretch ensuring you don’t experience unnecessary rubbing or discomfort. “Influenced By Neymar” The budget Future is where the price decrease is noticeable because of the cheap synthetic mesh and stetchy knit, as opposed to the high-performing materials found on the top Future tiers. Match also has a cheap nylon liner and a more solid and weighted feel to the TPU soleplate. Fuzionfit is still on the arch of the midfoot, but the tension it provides is significantly less felt now. PWRTAPE is limited to cosmetic function. The biggest innovation of the FUTURE Z is the FUZIONFIT+ compression band, placed at the mid-foot. The band was developed using a special combination of polyester and spandex yarns, along with special technical yarns to create the perfect balance of compression, comfort and durability, giving the wearer that second-skin feeling.” Traction and Soleplate

Dynamic Motion System soleplate has a nice, stiff, and stable midfoot and a set of studs good for rotational movements; does feel working with the foot rather than against it; Would prefer Puma consider the soleplate purefly FG and recommends getting the MG for artificial ground Fit is really comfortable out of the box because of the super ridiculously soft mesh toe box; has a nice padded sensation because of the internal foam For those looking to be a ball hog like Neymar, the grippy textures across the boot do help you a little in keeping the ball close to your foot. Perhaps it’s not grippy enough to help you add spin to your passes but it provides just enough traction to give you confidence when controlling at a moderate dribbling pace. The material itself is so incredibly supple that it folds with ease as your squeeze it. That was one area of concern I had going into testing, and I’m glad to report that it is one of the most responsive uppers you will find on the market. If you are looking for natural touch on the ball with enhanced touch, then this will be one of the best options available. First thing to notice is the snug and comfortable fit; meshed forefoot soft and free, and moulds well around the toes in an instant; knit collar compresses well and transitions smoothly to the lower legPrevious Future compression band feels too concentrated on the midfoot; compression in new Future Z 1.3 feels evenly spread out There isn’t a whole lot of negatives to report, they match up really well with the best options on the market. I do think, however, it is time for Puma to get in on the boot bag game. Any sort of addition with the cat proudly showcased would only add to the release. Retail Details Designed for tomorrow’s superstars, these are the children’s versions of the Future, so players can wear boots that look like their favourite stars on pitch, but at a price point to keep parents happy. HCM | ĐT: 0901 710 780 - 028 38429720 Run your hand across the upper and you will notice that there is a lot of texture and definition. Across the forefoot, there are raised ridges that flow across in a set pattern. The actual upper is a thin layer of GripControl Pro that is placed over a knit underlayer. The ridges definitely enhance and improve touch on the ball, giving you an extra layer of grip to work with. As the ball connects, those ridges create friction to keep the ball a little closer to you and allow for better ball manipulation.
