My wired PowerA Mario controller was also my first controller that had a drifting issue and the controller itself felt too light in the hand. I'd rather spend some extra money on a Pro Controller than a PowerA controller.

Saying that though, sacrificing rumble and gyro is OK as the Compact pad quality is really great. If you play handheld 50% of time or more then definitely a must-buy IMO If you're looking for more Tears of the Kingdom products, Nintendo will also be offering a collector's edition, amiibo, themed Switch OLED, a Pro controller and a carry case. Already got myself a Pro Controller, another pair of Joy Cons (pink and green), and a GameCube adapter for my two GameCube Controllers (both platinum). Our servers are getting hit pretty hard right now. To continue shopping, enter the characters as they are shown USB Type-C connector: You can use the enclosed USB charging cable to pair the controller with the console or to charge it. You can also connect it directly to an AC adapter. As for the pro controller, I ditched that thing for the 8bitdo Ultimate for a while now… it puts the pro to shame. I actually really like it. I was planning on buying a new Power A wireless controller so seeing another new option is great. I am not 100% sold on this one though. There could be a different older variant I might like, or another new one that gets released that I will want instead. VoidofLight yes if it had motion controls and HD rumble(which TotK is likely to utilise) I'd buy the compact joycons in a heartbeat The smaller models are called the ‘Split Pad Compact’ and actually already available today in White & Red variants. CJD87 Besides the comfort, one thing I like about the Split Pad Compact is that it maintains the design language of the Switch with Joy-Cons attached. It looks like something Nintendo themselves might have made if they had decided to make a bigger version of the Joy-Cons.

I'm tempted to get a Split-Pad Hori Pro but I'll wait for a sale...if it ever does at some point. Just not the Zelda theme ones. With the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom just around the corner, accessory maker Hori has announced a brand new line of products. Also, this is my first comment here, since I just bought a Switch Oled and Zelda TotK on an absolute whim for the love of games 😄 and I've since bought a controller and a dongle to turn ps5 controllers into Switch controllers to play this beautiful game in as many ways as possible. And I can't stop myself 😂😂 any other paraphernalia I "need" as I'm new to switch? 😁 ryu_san A shame these don't have motion controls, given Zelda TOTK Will use gyro aiming for arrows and whatnot. By attaching the Joy-Con strap to your wrist when you play, you can hold the Joy-Con more easily and control games more comfortably.
