There is so much more to this story than just the start of this relationship. We find out why Dean has acted the way he has and his growth arc is done with sleight of hand and then leaps and bounds. Allie has been on a serious path for a very long time. She had a family which loved and cared for her, experienced what it was like to lose a loved one, and now is devoted to her father. With his management of MS becoming harder and harder, Allie has made decisions based on it. She has been a caretaker for a very long time, not always doing what is best for her or allowing others to do for her. The Score is my third book by Ms. Kennedy and after that ending I’m anticipating the next book in the series. There are always high expectations when you read a sequel to book that was so good that you worry if the next one will manage to keep up. Well, no worries here, because The Mistake was as fabulous. I don't know how the author does it but she, again, managed to deliver great story with great characters. And I'm gonna repeat myself here, this is how NA should be done! Now, excuse me, while Snoopy will do the dance again. Well I don’t want to get all spoilery and tell the entire plot, so I will do my best to keep this review spoiler free like the author requested. I will say I literally laughed out loud while reading this book, many many times. Especially a certain bathtub scene that some of you have come to know and love. The banter between Dean and Allie was my favorite part about this whole book, they kept each other on their toes.

And that’s who Jake Connelly is. Harvard’s star forward is arrogant, annoying, and too attractive for his own good. But fate is cruel—I require his help to secure a much-coveted internship, and the hot jerk isn’t making it easy for me. It’s very rare that I read a series with 3 books and all 3 are equally fantastic and solid 5+ star reads for me. When starting The Score I was a little nervous it wouldn't live up to all the hype. I loved the first two books in this series so hard, I could only hope this was as good. I think The Mistake is still my favorite because, well… Logan. But honestly, this was just as good as The Deal for me and solid 5 star read! These two finally have some time away alone together in a tropical paradise, but things don't really go according to plan. There's a creepy haunted doll (that's featured in each novella) and some big decisions to be made about both their careers. Every. Single. Moment. There was not a word, sentence or chapter that didn't have me glued to the action. The romance was on point, the characters were adorably addictive and the story line had me hooked. But over everything else this book made me laugh like no other in the series, the banter was on point and the connection and friendship between the characters was one that I don't think I'll ever forget about. Elle Kennedy really does have an incredibly special talent at making me fall in love with her words and you would have be insane if you didn't find something to love about this reformed man whore and his sassy counterpart. Plenty of emotion, scorching hot chemistry and a romance story that had me feeling all the feels. I really can't find fault with this diamond of a book and it's official the off campus series is crowned as one of my all time favourites. To build up on this aspect, the characters also made some really dumb and unbelievable choices that made me scratch my head and go huh. Logan and Grace officially meet in one of the cheesiest ways – him accidentally stumbling upon the wrong dorm room and happens to find her room instead (hmmm okay…). They’re strangers at this point (except Grace has only been fangirling about him for so long and can’t wait to tell her best friend about him ugh) and you’d think that since they don’t know anything about each other they’d chit-chat and that’d be the start of a potential relationship right? Instead, Grace – who knows absolutely nothing about Logan except that he’s HOT – invites him into her dorm and further invites him to watch a movie. And then they proceed to mess around. I’m sorry, but that’s something I find hard to accept considering they are complete STRANGERS at this point and have next to zero interaction. the more i think about this, the more i hate it. i liked nothing about this except the scenes between dean and dakota because men with kids melts my heart. other than that, i didn’t like it.

I adore this series and I loved this book, I really did. Dean is my favorite in this series. The book contains all the elements I love in the college romance genre: a manwhore-turned-prince-charming hero, a strong and determined heroine and lots of steamy and LOL moments. In The Score we're dealing with a friends-with-benefits-that-fall-in-love situation (which explains the graphic-and sometimes extravagant-sex scenes) between Allie, a girl who just broke up with her longterm boyfriend, and the infamous man-slut/ horndog/ sex addict Dean. There is chase, tention, sneaking out and eventually emotions, heartbreak and problems that will affect their relationship, but Dean imprinted on Allie and he will not let her go. Sounds like a fun ride, right?

As a huge, massive, seriously devoted fan of The Deal by Elle Kennedy, I was over the top thrilled to see the success of her new series Off-Campus. I enjoyed reading about people in college who had dreams and goals; who experienced things in their lives which shaped who they were and when confronted with real challenges, pulled from within... muscled through...coming out the other end, better. TEN!” Oh brother. “NINE!” he shouts, motioning me with his hand to join in. And because I love this guy with all my heart, I make him happy and scream right along with him. Logan and Grace — 2★. They are my second favorite couple and this part could have rated higher if not for the recycling of the previous Christmas story. Anyway, the added parts were good so I don't have much to complain about here. I kinda forgot how dorky Logan and Grace are, but they are so so cute I could take these silly stories forever! Also, John Logan finally being happy? that's all i needed to know. The Series. This is my go to, my all star, my most recommended NA one. I do NOT want it to end and it breaks my heart knowing there is only ONE more left. Although, I will be continuously re-reading it. I saw a lot of potential in this author and the series keeps getting BETTER and BETTER (if that's even possible). I love the way the stories intertwine and I get to continuously read about familiar faces. Each novel has it's own unique love story and I HIGHLY recommend reading them if you haven't so already.
