Description

The Garmin Fenix 7X has a flashlight that shines out of the top of the watch case. It contains both red and white LEDs, and can be used to help you see in dark conditions, or to make you more visible to others when you're running at night. Smaller Fenix 7 watches don't have a light. Display Despite its design upgrade, the Fenix 6 doesn’t look hugely different when placed side-by-side with its predecessor, the Fenix 5 Plus. This is because the updates are rather minor.

Fixed an issue where the applied ballistics app could not be launched through the controls menu while running another app. (tactix Delta AB only). Fixed an intermittent issue where the weather widget would fail to load data when connected to an iOS device. While I was skeptical about the need for a touchscreen on a running watch, I’ve been really impressed by the Fenix 7 — the touchscreen undoubtedly makes the watch easier to use when you’re not on the run. Another huge design improvement on the Fenix 7 is that you can tweak the settings, data screens, and set-up of the watch from your phone — something that has been missing for years.Fixed display issues on the device after navigating to a point initiated by the Garmin Explore App. The side-mounted buttons are large enough to use while wearing bulky winter cycling gloves – and have a firm but definitive push that leaves no doubt about whether they’ve been pressed. There's a new forged metal guard around the start button on the Garmin Fenix 7, which is designed to protect it from damage and help prevent accidental presses.

Added support for Airplane Mode, which allows the user to disconnect from all wireless communication namely Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and ANT. (Hold Light > Controls > Hold Up > Add Controls > Airplane Mode) It has a 10 ATM water rating, so can withstand water pressures equivalent to a depth of 100 metres. It is really easy to live with and looks the part. A rugged, yet stylish sports watch that states to the outside world: “I do more than just the day job”. Those with smaller wrists will struggle with the 47mm version, but the 42mm version is smaller than many smartwatches. It’s certainly the best Garmin Fenix for women and equally ideal for anyone who feels that the larger case size of Fenix watches is too bulky on the wrist. At the end of each workout, you'll be able to see how your time was split between different heart rate zones (Image credit: TechRadar) Battery life

Fixed an issue where the heart rate graph may intermittently display a flat line during an activity.Garmin’s body battery system helps you make sense of it all, combining stress, sleep, heart rate variability and other data into a simple in-out system. You charge up your body with good sleep and deplete it with stress, activity and daily life. If you’re about balanced you’re doing a good job, but it’s easy to spot when you’re struggling or not doing enough exercise.
