Description

The central body of the IMALENT MS06 has an anti-slip knurling with a fine texture that allows a discreet grip even with wet hands such as in case of rain. Unscrewing the torch body we find the numerous well-lubricated threads and the water and dust seal O-ring. For reference, a regular 55W halogen car headlight bulb emits 1200 Lumen. In contrast, a 35 W Xenon headlight emits approximately 3200 Lumens, so you will have a lot of light available when you need it, and you can blind someone with this light. What you’ll get: Imalent’s focus is on affordability and high lumen output. Naturally that means focusing on the internals and functionality more than the looks. The most powerful LED torches are the ones with the highest lumen output and longest beam distance, they are perfect for large area illumination, providing critical extra illumination for search and rescue missions, and more. Now, for users who are not quite familiar with the concept of the lumen, don't worry, because each Imalent torch can easily surpass your possible expectation. While the LED on your phones normally produces a 50-lumen beam, the smallest torch from Imalent can produce 200 lumens at its low mode and last for almost 4 hours, the emergency turbo mode can produce a 4,000-lumen beam equivalent to a set of car headlights, and reach 203 meters away.

IMALENT® Powerful Flashlight – IMALENT®

Each of the six LEDs is surrouned into its own smooth(SMO) aluminum reflector. I’m not sure how they worked out the phyisics, but the result is a very even floody beam.

The IMALENT MS06 style designs really so nice the knurling is clearly not rough.the build quality is very well.the pitch of the threads is very fine and square-shard. Inside that heavy dust spring and well greased thread.which will make this easy to operate and screw off and screw on of the flashlight. Really that is excellent machining and finish. Here are a few runtimes. On Turbo, I am not seeing 25,000 lumens even at startup. But (at startup) we’re practically within my 10% margin of error. At 30s, we’re on the shoulder of a long (and planned) stepdown. The stepdown should be to 4000 lumens; it looks to be around 3300, and from there the light trails downward. There is Low Voltage Protection and also a low voltage warning by the indicator near the switch. First, it turns red, then it blinks red, and finally, the light turns off. The IMALENT MS08 is a compact, high lumen LED flashlight featuring 8 pcs of CREE XHP70.2 LEDs, which is one of the most popular LEDs for bright flashlights. To maximize the user-friendliness of this flashlight, innovative and effective measures have been taken, such as a custom cooling shell, high-drain, high capacity rechargeable Lithium-ion battery cells, the use of Aluminum OP reflector, and a built-in thermal control module. The results should be taken with a grain of salt since I am using an integrating Lumen tube which is not officially calibrated, so take into account a deviation of +- 10% Initially, I was unable to measure the current in Turbo mode, since the current seems to be above 20Amp. My clamp meter can only measure up to 20 Amp! I have never ever measured such high currents in a flashlight before!

IMALENT MS06 25000 lumens flashlight - IMALENT®

IMALENT has been a pioneer in LED flashlight technology for many years, continuously pushing the limits of what's possible. The MS series flashlights are the perfect example of this, with few competitors being able to match their power output. Imalent's success in this area is mainly attributable to its unwavering commitment to innovation. These flashlights are made from high-quality aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring that they can withstand even the toughest conditions. First – this is a phenomenally glossy box, and as such is ridiculously hard to photograph correctly on a white field. It’s probably possible, but my photography skills probably need some work first! Please also disregard any fingerprints on the box… Supplying huge amounts of current(15-30 amps) to satisfy high-demand LED’s also means plenty of heat is generated too. ChargingIn my tests the full recharge took place in just over 6 hours (using a 5V / 3A power supply). Recharging, according to my equipment, is done at approximately 2A max. Inside, you will find a luxurious inner box that you have to slide out, and it also comes fully printed with the picture of the MS03.

A 25,000 Lumen Behemoth: Imalent MS06 Review - Well Rigged

I would like to clarify that in addition to the flashlight to review I have not received any compensation and that my review will be objective according to my evaluation criteria. The torch at the highest powers heats a lot, but this was to be expected given the minimum dimensions with the length of only 119mm. Excellent alluvial beam that allows a good vision even with low levels starting to illuminate adjacent to the feet. The hold and feel of this flashlight are very good. The light is tiny, it is smaller than expected. You can see this in the size comparison pictures later in this review. It is even shorter than a Convoy S2+, which is a standard 18650 style flashlight! Built-in thermal control module will automatically adjust the brightness output according to the working state and outer temperature. If you only need a torch out for purely practical reasons, why not just have the best? EDC torches are reasonable solutions for most cases such as walking your dog at night or needing a torch to walk through dark alleys after work. Imalent EDC torches such as the mini 4,000-lumen torch LD70, or the brightest EDC torch MS03 are equipped with emergency modes, the turbo and strobe can be used for self-protection, while the long duration on low-mode can provide necessary illumination during a power outage.

The runtime test was done with the 50cm integrating sphere, including the Kenko Pro1D ND-16 filter and Extech SDL400 data logging Lux Meter. However, Imalent mentioned in their ads, that it can sustain 10K lumens, so that’s a pretty bold statement, and of course, we’re here to test that. When it comes to Imalent, you can easily see the similarities between all the Imalent MS flashlights. The coating looks the same, the knurling/machining and threads. Six American CREE XHP70 2nd LEDs. Lifespan is up to 50000 hours, with a maximum output of 25,000 lumens. Placing the MS06 down, it will roll until it hits the ‘ears’ on each side of the heat sinking fins. Thankfully at that point it seems to stop, even when I give the light a bit of a shove to try and roll it harder.
