I like that even though they have combined several words into the same list sometime they give an indication which word is in which verse. Survey the big picture of each book through overviews, vital statistics, outlines, and timelines, and grasp difficult concepts using in-text maps, charts, and diagrams—all to help you do life God’s way, every day. Both give great guidelines for daily living based on the scriptural teachings, and both are very easy to read, being in modern language thus making the books come alive for today's readers.

Over 260 charts and diagrams help highlight important information and clarify difficult concepts and relationships. There are so many notes and in such a wide variety I would recommend any new reader of the Life Application Study Bible at least look over the 10-page introduction at the front of the Bible.Some of the page layouts are a bit odd due to the amount of physical space the notes take up and a book might end up starting two thirds down the page but this is an incredibly minor flaw in my opinion. This bible sticks to exactly what God intended in the Old Testament as well as what Jesus intended as we read in RED lettering what Jesus actually said.
