Have you ever seen a six-foot-four hulk of a man cradle his tiny, newborn baby girl in his arms while singing “You Are My Sunshine?”

This book felt like a therapy session for me because of Jennie’s character. I was literally sobbing because of how much I related to her and what she struggles with 😀 Jennie is a bold & loving girl w/ a sensitive side. While she’s surrounded by people that love her, she can’t help but wonder if others truly care to know about who she is, especially because of her famous brother. Enter Garrett, the hottest cinnamon roll of a man that proves her wrong… 💙I think so, but I like kissing you, so it’s no big deal as long as you’re okay with it. Unless you disagree with that. If you’re uncomfortable, then… I’ll stop. jennie, i love her character so much, she is so well written. she is a loudmouth, but very feisty and independent and KNOWS her worth. she is also very vulnerable from past traumas and feeling like she lives in her older brother’s shadow. jennie and garrett brought out the best in each other and i loved to see that.

I loved Consider Me, but Play With Me takes the cake. Consider Me was a light, fluffy, cute read that just made my heart extremely happy. Play With Me was all that with just a sprinkle of seriousness that made me fall so hard for these characters.On one hand I really liked it. I LOVEDDDD Gare-Bear and his shy, awkward side was AMAZING. I loved the friendships and overall found family sort of vibe. I loved the dynamic and fluff. Watching the relationship between these two grow from friends, to fwb to lovers was such a great journey to tag along for. They fit each other so well & they’re just perfect. I cannot even fathom how much I love these two! Let me start by saying that if you’re ever going to take a book rec from me, please make it this one. I’m gold buzzering this book to my top 10 of the year list and I know I’ll have zero regrets about it in December. Reread as an audiobook and still absolutely LOVED!!! Definitely my favorite of the series so far. Love Garrett and Jennie to the ends of the earth. 💛 But what if their feelings get in the way? After all, they’re only supposed to be playing with each other ...

Same with the thoughts. We would have the same insecure thoughts, a mage-therapist-like talk with another character about these thoughts, do something reactive anyway...and then repeat. I only kept reading to get more of the couple from Consider me. I skimmed and just didn’t like anything about this book. The sex toy thing was soooooooo beyond overused and it got annoying.There were also times when I felt Jennie should have been the one to go and apologize or just go to Garrett rather then him to her. I felt like he just sort of overcompensated for some things. he is the biggest cinnamon roll mmc and just so loveable. i love how he was patient and protective over jennie <33 homegirl is 5'1. that isn't a disability. that isn't even that funny. people are 5'1 everywhere. my friend is 5'1. …i'm actually starting to be worry that i haven't been as supportive to her as i could have been during this tough, tough time. i guess i just never realized life was so hard for them down there. i know it's insensitive of me, but-
