It involves creating a circle divided into sections that represent the letters of the alphabet and a rose cross in the center of the circle. You then create a sigil by tracing the letters of your simplified intent on it. See here for a template of a rose cross wheel. Ensure you’re undisturbed as you’ll need to focus. You don’t need a fancy setup if you don’t have one. Otherwise, try sitting in your sacred space/altar (if you have one in your home). Step 2 – Close your eyes Charging the sigil is the first step toward activation. To actually activate the sigil, you can either focus on visualization, ritualistically destroy the symbol, or do both. Some people like to incorporate the elements into their sigil activation. Once you’ve sufficiently raised your heartbeat (or not) and cleared your mind, you need to visualize your sigil and your intent. Let there be nothing else in your mind but that. If there are any other thoughts or images in your mind, the sigil won’t charge properly. How to Activate a Sigil

As you create and use sigils in your life, you come to recognize that you're a co-creator of your own reality, and that your thoughts and intentions have the power to shape your experience. You'll also come to recognize that you're part of a larger, interconnected web of energy and consciousness, and that your individual desires and goals are intimately tied to the well-being of the whole. Sigils are about more than simple desire. They are about us becoming aware of our desires, wants, and needs, voicing them, and then releasing them into the Universe. Remember, the last step of the sigil activation has to be letting go. Most commonly, people combine visualization with a symbolic burning of the sigil. You can also use one of the three other elements and either bury the sigil in Earth, wash it away with Water, or blow on it with Air.Sigils are generally something we make in a peaceful environment. Not to mention, last-minute sigils are rarely effective as they don’t have time to manifest our desires. Create a Focus Area Sigils are not a replacement for action. Yes, sigils can help you manifest just about anything – but you also have to put in the work. Don’t be lazy. Sigils will create inner changes, but you need to be responsible for making outer changes first.

You start by voicing the inner desires that really matter to you but, if you’re not careful, you’ll end up making a sigil for every little thing in your life, and every want that crosses your mind. Write out your desire in a simple sentence that's phrased in the present tense. For instance, the sigil you see in the photos above is for the intention: "I am protected from negativity." For examples of intention setting, please feel free to look at one of my many articles on affirmations such as " affirmations that will build build self worth." Affirmations are very similar to intentions and the process of creating them is much the same. If you are seeing something like “=N=L=I=G=H=G=” instead of a musical staff, the embedded webfonts aren’t loading for you. In other words, creating a sigil encourages surrender as much as it encourages desire. Begin by focusing on a powerful and meaningful intention. Reflect on what you genuinely desire, let your creativity and intuition guide you, and you will discover the appropriate sigil for your purpose.
