While Amuro's Gundam is still referred to as "ν Gundam" in the text, the illustrations that accompany the novel as drawn by Yutaka Izubuchi are referenced as " Hi-ν" to differentiate that interpretation from the movie and Hi-Streamer rendition and to provide a complement name for the Nightingale.

The Sazabi in the Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight Axis ONA is based on the Hajime Katoki (Ver. Ka) redesign. The Ver. Ka is based on the 2012 Gundam Front Tokyo Dome-G design. The Hi-ν Gundam also featured a Psycommu system designed by its main pilot and engineer, Amuro Ray. Originally, the system only served as the control mechanism for the Fin Funnels. However, after Londo Bell captured a MSN-03-2 Psycho Doga used by Neo Zeon, the Psycho-Frame technology obtained from it was incorporated into the Hi-ν Gundam, improving its responsiveness via brainwave controls. [1] Because of Amuro's modifications, the suffix "-ν2" was added to its original model number of RX-93. [2] Aside from the Newtype magazine illo that balofo posted, the original source of images for these guys is in the mecha profile section at the beginning of the Beltorchika's Children novel. The Psyco Doga isn't pictured in this section, and aside from the Nightingale, all the mecha are listed with the same names and specs and model numbers as the movie versions. (At this point, the movie specs had smaller head heights. That's why everyone says the Hi-Nu is 20 meters; the book just listed the standard specs for the Nu Gundam, and at that point they were saying the Nu was 20 meters tall.)

During the planning stage of the movie, the Sazabi was originally named "Zanac" or "The Nac" (ザ・ナック in Japanese). Due to trademark issues, this name was never used and "Sazabi" was then chosen.

To the main body, let's assemble the funnel binder, which is also the identity of Nightingale. This is the exterior and base parts. Fit the base part into the exterior part. Connection joint with the main body. Thanks to this part, the binder can move flexibly. The holding power is perfect. We will attach the vernier to the base part. It is a masterpiece that all the yellow parts are color-coded by the vernier internal parts. The funnel base parts are set on the surface. This is also a fine detail. This is the funnel. It is a one-part configuration. Of course it is removable. If you attach the funnel, the funnel binder is completed. Now, the parts other than the armament are finally completed. A little after. However, Amuro soon realized that since both the Psycho Doga and the Hi-ν Gundam were developed by Anaheim Electronics, Char must have known about the Hi-ν Gundam's performance and felt disappointed, so he left behind the Psycho Doga, hoping that Amuro would use it to improve the Hi-ν Gundam so he can defeat him in a fair fight. They are ideal for shooting down small, lightly armored targets such as missiles, small vehicles, etc.

In the SRW Z series, Char's is barred from using the Sazabi for plot reasons in Z1 and both Z2 games, where he remains in his Quattro guise. He finally obtains use of the Sazabi with the first part of Z3 and retains in in the final part of the series. The Dome-G version of Sazabi featured a new "S-01" marking. This is most likely the retroactive source of Full Frontal's unit number, "10S". A large firearm with a total length of approximately 30 meters that could emit beams as powerful as Mega Bazooka Launchers. It was able to separately fire focused and diffused beams—resembling scattershot rounds see in shotguns— and could be fired rapidly. The weapon could also be used in Launcher Mode by unfolding its bipod and connecting it to an external energy source [2].

Instead of Chan Agi in the RGZ-91 Re-GZ intentionally killing Quess Paraya, pilot of the NZ-333 α Azieru, it is instead Hathaway Noa in a stolen RGM-89 Jegan who accidentally kills Quess. This would prompt Hathaway to join the anti-Federation terrorist group known as Mafty over a decade later as told in the Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash novel.FA-93HWS ν Gundam Heavy Weapons System Type | RX-93 ν Gundam Double Fin Funnel Type | RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam The assembly of the arm is very simple parts division. The base parts of the wrist are also nicely detailed. There are 6 types of hand parts: left and right fists, left and right saber handles, right gun grip, and left flat hand. The movable range is also very excellent. The movable range is a little narrower than usual, but you can also bend it so-called. The included Beam Rifle also serves as an add-on for the builders that intend to complete the Ballistic Zaku ( HGGTO MS-06S Zaku II/ HGGTO MS-06S Zaku II (Red Comet Ver.)/ HGUC MS-06S Zaku II Commander Type Char Aznable Custom (2020) + HGBC Ballistic Weapons) model kit build, though the rifle is much larger than the one seen in the ONA. Comparing the movie scene where the ν Gundam is holding the Sazabi's escape pod, with an earlier showing of the escape pod suggests the Sazabi to be over 70 meters in height. This might be a mistake by the animators.

A version of the Earth Federation's hyper bazooka modified for use by the Hi-ν, it has a caliber of 280mm and has improved firing range as well as destructive power. In SRW X, Char starts off with the Sazabi as both an antagonist and an ally and the Nightengale becomes his mandatory upgrade. At least two units of Psycho Doga existed, the first unit was shot down during battle at Fifth Luna and its psycho-frame was used to enhance the RX-93-ν2 Hi-ν Gundam. The second unit went in combat against Beltorchika Irma's RGZ-91 Re-GZ, but was destroyed in combat. This extra propellant greatly extends a mobile suit's operating range and enables it to stay in combat longer. When the propellant is consumed, the tank can be discarded to reduce the mobile suit's weight. These tanks use a two-layered construction, with one layer containing propellant, and the other holding extra coolant.
