Story complete but revision section at the back has been cut out as has a section of the back cover. but I do remember being bitterly disappointed that I couldn't read after my first day at school, as I wanted to be able to read my Jack and Jill comic! Funilly enough my son learned to read recently and it seamed to just "happen", he seamed to be oblivious to the process and just put all the letters together effortlessly. im heady, my father was heady, he was a russian literature professor, and INVITATION TO A BEHEADING was first book read and actually I was playing three insturments by age 6, esperanto by 8, not bad for a scouser innit. These had a new Anglicised text by Rona Munro, wife of John Mackenzie Wood who ran Nesbit and Co; she was originally a teacher from New Zealand. I remember of Janet and Jim (I think it was like that) and now I would like to get a copy of some to teach my students, with them. There is very minor shelf-wear to the extremities of the cover and some foxing and marking to the front, there is some foxing to the title page and occasional minor marks elsewhere, there is also one .
