Description

The CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT lets you intelligently control up to six PWM fans and multiple RGB components while accurately monitoring system temperatures, all from a single device. Thanks for the response DevBiker, I'm not using another monitoring software, I read in other posts that HWInfo causes problems so I don't use any other. I guess is a software problem because I use linux (Ubuntu) for work and I'm not having this issue, the truth is that I use it with different puropose obviously, so I don't demand it the same way. My real concern is if this could "break" something (the fans blinks like if they were switched to off and on again), also sometimes it "powers off" and never plugs in again, I have to reset my computer for it to appear. My question is the following: If I connect 6 QL120 fans (34x6=204 leds + 160 strip leds = 364 leds. Commander XT supports 264 leds), would all the leds work?

With the above wiring guide, you can see how to connect an H150i ELITE LCD XT AIO with 4x QL120 RGB fans. The diagram was designed around this example, but the principles can easily be used for other configurations, too. Here's a breakdown of what's going on. Hi all, I'm new and made the mistake of buying the 570X mirror case, now I have all Corsair RGB components ( plus few other brand ) 🙂 CORSAIR make a lot of products to help you control your RGB and Airflow DIY components. Before the release of iCUE LINK, we used more traditional methods to make everything work together. Hello I am in process of assembling new PC and for that purpose I bought H150i Elite LCD which comes along Commander Core. I was thinking to build all in my current case Corsair 780t. Recently possibility arise that I can get Corsair 7000x rgb which has preinstalled Commander core XT. I am surre that this question arose like an zillion times but I am wondering what is optimal way to connect those two controllers and how to connect them.iCue recognizes the H150i and the fans connected to it. I can control fan speed, power settings, lighting, and just about everything on both those 6 intake fans and the H150i from inside iCue. I can also control my ram and its RGP inside iCue as well. I know that all of the fans work because I get each fan to turn on, spin, and display the default RGB setting. and why dont you try saying you have the fans you have in icue or pic the ones with the most RGB and the other will do the same but you wont have all the rgb on the fans itself? i mean lets just say that the LLs have 30 RGB LEDs for simplicity and the MLs have 15. you pic the LLs in icue as all your fans and all 30 LEDs of the LLs light up and the 15 on thje MLs The weird is, the cooling preset not function at all. the fan attached at commander core XT go to full speed. The led strips of the box and the remaining 4 QL120 fans to the Commander XT that comes with the box. But I also go beyond the 264 leds (34x4=136 + 160 = 296 leds).

core and commande core xt How to connect commader core and commande core xt

yes the commander core and pro are different, if you dont think so then you are an idiot. the Core can handle 6 fans completely with the PWM and RGB. the Pro can handle 6 fans for power, 2 for RGB 4 temp sensors and 2 9 pin internal USB hubs. Commander PRO achieves zero RPM via DC/voltage control - so in this case, it is turning off your LL or QL fans even though they do not support zero RPM. Following up on this, would a Lighting Node Pro controller work as another solution to having more than six RGB fans?

Once you have finished setting up your COMMANDER CORE XT, you can now open iCUE and select COMMANDER CORE XT on the home screen to configure controller settings. Connect a 3-pin RGB device (e.g. lighting strips, fan lighting hubs, or Hydro X components) into the port labeled RGB. Using the Core XT is less expensive than multiple Commander Pros AND less clutter since the Pro ALSO requires separate RGB hubs for control fan lighting. How much RGB do you have? What PSU are you running? How many and what devices are connected to USB?
