Description

The Oral-B Pro 3000 has the most features of the three electric toothbrushes and therefore wins this round. It comes with the handy sensitive cleaning mode and an extra brush head. The Oral-B Pro 2500 and 2000 are identical other than the colour. 2) Mechanism of action: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500 All three of the electric toothbrushes are mid range electric toothbrushes built by Oral-B. They all provide different advantages and disadvantages but which one provides you with the best features, best value for money and best portability. Find out in the detailed review below. 1) Features: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500 The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 costs . This is one area where this electric toothbrush shines. For the features you get and the price, it is hard to beat this electric toothbrush. It also comes with a 2 year warranty that is possible to extend to 3 years.

With the all new lithium ion battery the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 will now last upto 2 weeks. This means that it gives about 56 minutes of brushing time. This is brilliant for a budget electric toothbrush and is on par with the more expensive Oral-B Genius 8000 and 9000 and the Philips Sonicare. At , the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 Electric Toothbrush is in the mid range of the Oral B electric toothbrush line up. It represents fantastic value for money especially considering the features you get. Oral-B does have a phenomenal range of brush heads and the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 is compatible with every single one of them. Other than the cross action the other useful brush heads are sensitive, kids and ortho. I am not a big fan of the trizone find out why here. 3) Battery Life: Oral-B Pro 2 2000 Electric toothbrush review The Oral-B Pro 2500 wins this round as it comes with a travel case. This is something that not even the more expensive Oral-B Pro 3000 comes with. 5) Value for Money: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500

Sensitivity Clean

The CrossAction brush comes as standard with the Oral-B Pro 2 2500N. As the brush head size is quite small, it means that it easily accesses the most difficult of molar teeth. This in my view is the best brush head Oral-B make. This is because it has special bristles that are angled at 16 degrees, which allow it to clean close to the gum line. The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 Electric Toothbrush comes with a travel case where you can store the electric toothbrush handle and two electric toothbrush heads. It is a pretty simple construction however it has some neat design features. All three electric toothbrushes can use the full range of electric tooth brush heads on offer by Oral-B. These are the: All three electric toothbrushes come with two forms of pressure sensor. A visible light that flashes red when you are pressing too hard and also a sensor in the brush head that slows down pulsations and oscillations if you are pressing too hard. These are both critical to prevent gum recession and tooth wear. Very little in it however the Oral-B Pro 3000 edges it by having the sensitive cleaning mode. The Oral-B Pro 2500 and 2000 are identical in performance. 3) Battery Life: Oral-B Pro 2000 vs 3000 vs 2500

The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 is the updated version of the Oral-B Pro 2000. Although it shares almost all the same components as the Oral-B Pro 2000, it has a new improved lithium-ion battery which doubles the battery life to a whopping 2 weeks. It also shares many of the same features as the Oral-B Pro 2 2500, however, it does not come with a travel case. The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 is a good budget electric toothbrush that bridges the gap between the top of the range electric toothbrushes such as the Oral-B Genius 9000 and the truly budget range electric toothbrushes such as the Oral-B Vitality plus. Yes the it is waterproof and can be used in the shower if you so wish. How long is the warranty on the Oral-B Pro 2 2000? The Oral-B Pro 2500 trumps the other two by coming with a travel case. I find a travel case extremely useful to protect the oral-b pro 2500 when on my travels. In a funny way it makes me want to bring the Oral-B Pro 2500 just because it has the travel case. Verdict: Portability All the electric toothbrushes on test today have a “Protimer”. This is a helpful on handle timer that buzzes every 30 seconds. After four of these buzzes you will have completed your recommended 2 minutes of brushing. Features: VerdictAll three electric toothbrushes have slim line profiles. This means that they are easy to hold however the battery life is lower than other electric toothbrushes. The Oral-B Pro 2000, 3000 and 2500 all will last on average 28 minutes which is a weeks worth of usage cleaning twice a day for two minutes. If you share the holder then you will need to charge more frequently.

It has a functional, practical style in a pale blue colour. The handle is slimline and rubberised making it easy to grip the electric toothbrush handle even when wet. The single on/off button on the front of the electric toothbrush is easy to press. On the front of the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 is also a battery indicator light which is easy to read however it would be nice if it warned you of low battery earlier. Waterproof The Oral-B Pro 2 2500W comes with the whitening brush head, which I am not keen on. The whitening brush head has a rubber cup in the middle of it, which looks similar to a hygienist polishing bur. I think this is too aggressive to use on a daily basis. If you do end up getting the Oral-B Pro 2 2500W, I would recommend purchasing some CrossAction brush heads separately. As the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 is a cheaper electric toothbrush, you would expect it to come with fewer features. It is actually surprising how many features Oral-B have fit into this basic electric toothbrush. Styling The Oral-B Pro 2000, 3000 and 2500 all use the 3D oscillating rotating mechanism of action at 40,000 pulsations and 8,800 oscillations per minute. They will therefore clean your teeth with the same power on the daily clean mode. The Oral-B Pro 3000 trumps the others by being able to adjust the pulsations and oscillations with a sensitive cleaning mode. If you do not have sensitive teeth, this function will be irrelevant for you.Oral-B iO™ with revolutionary iO™ technology is the latest Oral-B electric toothbrush. After six years of research and over 250 patents, Oral-B iO™ sets the new standard of brushing performance, experience, and design. Experience a deep but uniquely gentle clean with a new frictionless magnetic drive. It directs all energy to the bristles to generate new micro-vibrations. The result is Oral-B’s best ever clean: 6x more effective plaque removal along the gumline for 100% healthier gums in one week. The Oral-B Pro 650 comes in at a lower price point and thus sacrifices some of the features of the Oral-B Pro 2 2500. The main one for me is the pressure sensor. Pressing too hard with a toothbrush can lead to gum recession and tooth wear. The Oral-B Pro 2 2500 has a pressure sensor that flashes red when you are pressing too hard. This will mean that you will use the brush at just the right pressure. There is no difference in speed/power of the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 and Oral-B Pro 650. Is the Oral-B Pro 2 2500 waterproof? As to be expected from a budget range electric toothbrush it does not come with all the bells and whistles. The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 does not come with Bluetooth connectivity to the Oral-B App and position detection. It however does come with all the essential features. Quadpacer 2 minute timer
