When she lands a summer internship at an up-and-coming fashion brand in Rome, she knows she’s got to bring her A game. Finally graduating at 29 she lacks confidence and is terrified she will prove her parents right even though she has worked very hard and knows she is good at what she does. Violet, dying to escape this increasingly painful situation, takes her leave when her friend and fellow internship winner Marco appears. With her thirties rapidly approaching and a mountain of student debt looming over her, Violet Luciano’s dream of finishing design school and working in fashion has cost her everything.

Violet needs to win this competition to launch her fashion career but sparks fly as she spends more time with Matt and the distraction might cost her the prize. We also use different external services like Google Webfonts, Google Maps, and external Video providers. The nostalgic vibes and the sweet flashbacks showing a first love in bloom are just pure catnip for me. I’d suggest throwing on your favorite Italian music, and pouring yourself a glass of Prosecco, maybe a delicious charcuterie board, because you deserve it.Did they not like each other just so the book could be marketed as the ever popular enemies-to-lovers trope? With her thirties rapidly approaching and a mountain of student debt looming over her, Violet Luciano's dream of finishing design school and working in fashion has cost her everything.

I loved when the characters were sightseeing, and found it to be so much more entertaining than all the fashion talk. But eventually that has to serve some purpose where they address it if she continues to comment on it, and it never really turns into anything. the book was fun to read and it had a cutr story, there some over the top scenes which made me laugh out loud ( Violette prank was hilarious) but there were scenes I felt unnecessary drama .Little does Violet know, that stranger she met in the cafe is her professor’s grumpy son, Matteo, who is now her temporary roommate! Violet and Matt go on a weekend trip to Capri and stay in what sounds like the most magical oceanfront hotel in existence. Bromley’s appealing debut sees a New York City romance novelist thrown back together with a hated ex.

She was a preschool teacher for seven years and is now focusing full-time on combining her two great passions – writing swoon-worthy love stories and making people laugh. Going into this novel I was in a bit of a reading slump and I screamed on the inside (maybe quietly on the outside too) when I saw I had been selected to read an ARC of this upcoming Kate Bromley novel. I really liked how there wasn't too much conflict in the book and the conflict we did have didn't feel forced, it was really realistic and was resolved in a way that I did enjoy! Erin La Rosa, author of For Butter or Worse When an American interning at a fashion house in Rome butts heads with her professor's surly son, sparks fly!I loved Violet immediately and despite Matt's grumpy demeanor, his witty sarcasm had me wrapped around his finger. Because it turns out that the man from the café is Matteo, her professor's eternally grumpy son, who thinks she's a clumsy American.
