Due to be screened in June, it tells the story of Lennon from Beatlemania to his flight to a new life with Yoko in New York in 1971. On 9 August 2020, it was announced that Eccleston would reprise his role of the Ninth Doctor in audio dramas for Big Finish Productions, across four boxsets to be released between May 2021 and February 2022.
