Doing this saves a while bunch of money with not eating dinner out and my two little (fussy eater) girls get one "home cooked" healthy meal a day. This recipe was cooked and tested using the Crock-Pot 6 Quart 8 in 1 Multi Use Express Crock Programmable Pressure Cooker, however this recipe will work in other sizes of the Crock-Pot Express such as the 4 quart or 8 quart. You will note that short grain rice and long grain rice take less time to cook than brown rice and wild rice. I think it would work in a tiny crock pot, but mine seems to only have one (extra hot) setting, so maybe you'd have to stick around to watch it.
