But now game box art has come to represent the actual experience of the game more and more as the graphics have come so far in the last couple of console generations. And today we’re seeing more boxes that represent how you feel about the experience rather than just what the game looks like. I think we’re in that camp of depicting how you feel about Darth Vader with this box. It’s a purposefully stripped-down image that is meant to get an emotional response from the fans that love the Star Wars galaxy they grew up with. But then we try to take that further by revealing the man behind the mask. Originally meant to release in in 2020 (!!), the development of the most ambitious LEGO Star Wars game yet have been plagued by all sort of issues, but we’re finally here, and long-suffering fans can finally boot it up on their console of choice and play. This particular minifigure is currently selling for higher prices than the game itself, as noted by LEGO-centric YouTube channel MandRproductions. Credit: LEGO/Lucasfilm I like the all white Luke body as a variation since it is reminiscent of some old toys and the classic original movie poster but the figure is so ubiquitous now, they really should have introduced a new alternative by now. I for one still prefer the 2008 ANH Luke over the 2014 one and upgraded most of my Lukes with those 2008s white hips with tan legs and prefer the standard male hair piece in dark tan over any of the official ANH Lukes hair pieces.
